Sorry for my late reply (better late than never!) however if this still helps, I would suggest downloading the IGCSE English Language & Literature anthology and reading up the stories and poems there - as well as the short non-fiction texts: myonlineschooling.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/iGCSE-Anthology-English-Language-A-and-English-Literature.pdf Also if you're seeking Shakespeare texts, best plays to read up on are Macbeth, Romeo & Juliet and if you want even more advanced reading... Hamlet is also fantastic. Best of luck!
