Kadyn Proctor saw the Iowa offense during spring practice and said "nope"
😂😂
He literally went into KF office to say he was transferring before Spring practice even started.
@@TenaciousStudent is that why I have 18 likes?
@@aaronwestbury you have 18 likes because you dunked on Iowa’s offense. Which that doesn’t exist as it was anymore either. 18 likes isn’t a flex either.
@@TenaciousStudent before spring practice started not before team meetings, rosters, player meetings, etc
Well if I am a portal player I know I am not going to Iowa after hearing this!
Proctor literally went from the typical mistake-prone freshman to a guy who pushed UGA around and gained “the best OL of conference championship weekend” from PFF before our very eyes. Yet, he was treated like this by a sub par program from up north. As an Alabama fan, I’m so happy he’s back. His talent. His attitude. The portal sucks. And we’re not getting Downs back. But I’d be damned to say I no longer care for what these players did. That’s like me saying I don’t care about Hurts. Absolutely despicable.
Iowa only wants 3 stars⭐️😂
As a Bama fan I hated to see him leave but can understand. Hearing how Iowa treated him shows me how Saban established Bama as a great organization. We of course welcome him back and the stories out of Tuscaloosa appear to be true. When Proctor went on spring break with his Bama buddies it all makes sense now why he returned if he was getting the cold shoulder at Iowa. Iowa has no idea how to run a modern team it appears.
He wasn’t getting the cold shoulder. His high school best friend is a starter. He was literally going to start. He wanted money, simple as that. Homesick kids don’t transfer back to the program they were homesick at 2 months after leaving.
If any of this is true .... then they didn't deserve a player of his stature... Once he joined the team should have been treated as a brother not a whipping boy.... No wonder nepotism wrecked a few seasons for them....lack of leadership
Who wants to play for losers when you can win on the top level
I agree on some points, but I disagree on the wild Wild West. EEEEVERYTHING needs perimeters, or what you get is a “lawless” system…. A city without walls. Let’s not act like rules should not be in place, and it’s not old or wrong to think that way.
Totally agree gotta do what's best for them. Coaches just gotta get more creative with keeping roster together.😊
No doubt all the other tackles at Iowa, already scrambling for places on the depth chart, were delighted at the prospect of yet another OT to compete with.
As a Bama fan, this was a bad take sharpe. These players need to learn wtf loyalty is, its about the TEAM. Todays players only care about the bag. Im honestly not happy about bringing him back.
If the players can transfer at a moments notice, I think the colleges should be able to cut the players if they aren’t up to snuff. Can’t have it both ways. That’s the thing about getting paid now, you can be fired too.
I will say, if you can't trust a kid to stay at your program, you also can't trust what he says about the program he left. It's like the situation with the edge guy who left Florida for ole miss trashing Florida for not developing him.
They FUMBLED him on signing day and then tampered with him to get him back on the sly and then FUMBLED him again because they wanted him to jump through hoops to play? They don't have another lineman with his talent ceiling on that entire roster I'd go out on a limb saying that. He should have never left Bama in the first place.
My daughter was treated like that in high school
Small time schools dont know how to handle big time prospects…this proves it
It matters because that’s what separates college football from pro. There’s a reason college games get 100k+ fans at a game and NFL games are sold out with 50k-60k fans.
5 star video and 5 star take. Thank you.
Alabama still needs to added other O-linemen in transfer portal that could push those other O-linemen on campus
To be the best version of one's self as an athlete play with the best
None of this is on Iowa. Iowa did the best they could to create a cohesive program. The kid is just playing a game for money and it has been evident since day 1. It’s fine. Alabama had more. If a kid doesn’t want to play at a school, it’s best he doesn’t.
At the end of this season lets compare Proctor to his replacement at Iowa. You might be surprised...............
I thought he was supposed to transfer because he was homesick and not because of Saban retiring
Iowa hoping proctor leaving will help when the ncaa releases punishment for their breaking recruiting violations.
It’s EGO and PRIDE. Bama has a team full of 4&5 stars. They won’t treat him special either. The difference is that he wanted to be the big dog at Iowa bc the other player were “less than”. He knew that wasn’t going to happen at Bama bc it’s all big dogs and they don’t need him.
What does a man skin color being black has to do with him being a youtuber. Everyone has a right to there own opinion but dont judge the man because of his skin color. Would it have been different if he was white you wouldn't be saying negative BS hey sharp I love your channel Bro keep it going and God bless.
Caleb Downs next. #ComeHome
Homie lost his black stripe. Downs isn't going anywhere. The same with Julian Sayin.
@@CarlaJenkinsTV they can keep Julian. The other JuJu on the way
I hate the way the transfer portal and the Pay For Play aka NIL is right now.. and college football is much worse and 99% of people knows it. I completely disagree with your take on this new age football is good for college football BUT.. ITS NOT THE PLAYER'S FAULT. The way college football is right now is the adults fault. I'm not against kids making money and being able to transfer.. those are GREAT things.. that is not what's going on right now. Its the wild wild west. But while the rules are the way they are... I don't blame any player for taking advantage of it... sad thing is and why I think there needs to be some rules and regulations is that there are too many people in these kid's ears that are not looking for the best interest in the player. Agent types only looking to line their pockets. But definitely shame on Iowa to treat Kadyn this way AFTER they tampered to get him back at Iowa. All I gotta say is RTR!
Iowa didn’t treat Proctor poorly. The kid opted to not go on a trip with the Iowa QB and lineman. Instead, he went on spring break with Bama players. He comes back and immediately tells KF he is transferring. He never went to a practice. He wanted money. He put no effort into being on the team. Of course people would question intentions. KF is also focusing on creating a cohesive locker room. Proctor didn’t want that. Don’t believe a random UA-camr. KF has addressed the KP situation. Enjoy the drama queen. Glad he didn’t cost the program any money.
YOU are focusing on him changing his committment. They said it. They treat everyone the same , focus on that.
If Michigan or Ohio were in the west it would be a different story. Shutout in the big conference championship game.
Rlly just goes to show how out of touch Kirk Ferentz is with college football. I have a lot of respect for him but he NEEDS to be willing to go into the portal
Not hard when all you coach is 2 and 3*'s. You will eventually hit on a few.
KP is not on Alabama
Only because he can't transfer until April 15th. He has already said he is leaving Iowa and returning to Alabama as soon as the portal opens
He is leaving Alabama again
First here and I agree
That dude isn’t worth the controversy. He was only a freshman, I do realize, but he looked awful most of the year and killed his team allowing costly sacks. He’s huge, but slower than Christmas
He was 18 years old going up against SEC D linemen. He had some growing pains, but if you think he isn't an elite player then you didn't watch him down the stretch. He absolutely mauled Georgia
@@michaelbaker8633 well, he didn’t maul Michigan and he didn’t maul Texas nor anyone else I watched Bama play. They weren’t even SEc, chump.
@@michaelbaker8633 Cam Robinson and Jonah Williams both started every game of their freshmen seasons at Bama and both dominated. This guy was dominated many times
Sharpe, I'm white and I say so, is the law of the land in amerikkka!!!!!
good for iowa. NO PLAYER GETS SPECIAL TREATMENT. Why lose the team for one player and look stupid. You want hypocracy and special treatment, go to deon sanders. Most popular 4-8 team in the world
I didn't expect a black youtuber to understand...the entitlement from shedeur sanders , caleb williams , and travis hunter, mainly comes from the fans.... I LOVE IOWA FOR TREATING EVERYONE THE SAME.
I get the no special treatment part and your comment was a great read all up until the part where you just had to bring up race. For real what does his race have to do with anything? You love that Iowa treats everybody the same, but here you are treating this individual different because he is a "black youtuber". Sounds like a case of say I'm racist without saying I'm racist.
