- I'm honestly not too happy with this one but people gave me positive feedback so maybe I'm just being paranoid. And yeah, I know it's not from Mega Man 3, but I couldn't help myself.

I don't think my new additions work all that well with the original material, particularly during/after the solo. But oh well, you can't win 'em all. I'm glad others enjoy it at least. :>

I love everything about Mega Man 9. It felt like, after two dubious attempts to continue Mega Man in a post-NES era, someone figured out that going full nostalgia was the way to go, and Mega Man 9 feels like such a worthy successor, with challenging stages, interesting bosses, and, of course, the incredible rock music, which you have so fantastically remixed here, that gave our blue bomber his original name "Rock Man".
Well 7 was still a good game, but it just got overshadowed by the X games. 8 has it's fans, I assume.
I wish it never ends.
I hope I'll live to a day of some MegaMan Zero remixes from you man. You're a legend.

This is an excellent metal arrangement you've made! I love that musical squelch you do on cue just after 2:42 as Megaman falls into the pit. A nice touch of immersion to go with the visuals.

GOSH. Ever since the Rockman Holic album, I really fell in love with both the boss and his level, but the way it was remixed here... Darn, it was intense. As long as you keep makin' remixes like that I'l be freakin' fine, especially if I'm looking for energetic stuff XD

Yes. It's a little difficult at first, but it gets easier as you play them. It's a lot of fun once you get used to it.
Definitive yes. You totally should. I reccomend you starting with Mega Man 2 or 3. Maybe even 6.

Yeah, it's not perfect. It's not your best but it's still a solid rocking track, though I agree the new material does seem a bit out of place. Seriously, even though this is one of my least favorites of your work, I still think it's pretty decent. Can't wait for what you do next.

i can honestly say you've got a good beat going but it seems like you might be missing a certain kick to it to amp it up idk what it is it just feels like its missing something still very awesome though
my main gripe is that, especially in the beginning, the driving melody of the song is drowned out by the super loud guitars, which is important to the energy of the song. this could have been a lot better with more careful mixing.
***** That's actually deliberate. I think the strongest part of the intro is the bassline, so I put the emphasis there. I may have gone overboard though, should've at the very least automated synth volume levels in the later segments where the synth holds a much more prominent role in the composition.
I do agree that my mixing isn't great even though it's often what I spend the most time twiddling with. It's very, very difficult for me to have the guitars be both clearly audible and fat as hell without them taking over the entire soundscape. :I

Jun Senoue I'm afraid not, but the chord progression and bassline are, for the most part, identical to the original so any midi that's accurately charted the original notes should be enough if you want to learn how to play it.

This cover sucks. There's no melody, it's all covered by pounding drums and rhythm guitars. The awesome hook never shines through. Yeah I'd throw this in the garbo and do another one
That's kinda what I was going for with it and I still think this turned out rather well. I do have gripes, but they're related to the mixing and the original segments, not the arrangement of the source material.
I get that the approach isn't for everyone though. Hope you find an arrange of this you actually like, 'cause I know there are others.
