His personality came from his 700 years of existing. The TV Tropes page reminded me of a scene early on where he picks up a spork and tries to decide whether or not he should put it with the Spoon or Fork group. He puts it in the middle, between the two cups. Now, usually, unless you program a computer to identify Sporks as something different from Spoons and Forks, then chances are they won't really be able to figure out that it's not an "either or" situation.
At some point something caused a programming error causing him to be self aware, in the movie when he gets a new motherboard he reverts back to his programming

Also pretty impressive how far they were able to push the graphics. I know this is running on an upscaled emulator, but this looks roughly as good as PS3 launch games.

After watching the movie Wall-E. This make me interest to play this also. I'm so unlucky not to play this since 2008 because my parents doesn't let me to play video games before. :(
i remember my aunt taking me to watch wall e when i was a kid. later i got the game running on my ps2 and screamed her to come and see. "aunt look! it's wall e!" this game. man. time flies and yet i still want to play it all over again.
had the game on both ps2 and pc. played this for years. I remember how long itd take to load, now I occasionally game on it and focus on how fast the game runs instead of how fast the childhood has ran
Oh yea there’s a old ps2 game called “the way of the samurai” idk if your into fighting games in that realm but if you like playing a good story samurai game that’ll be it. That’s if you haven’t already. Idk if it’ll be the best for UA-cam.
I love how much personality is in this little robot who barely speaks. Like that umbrella was adorable. The plunger was kinda funny, got me to chuckle. Now I just love Wall-E and it just makes me want to play this game, which I am surprised about since it’s a movie game. Whoever made this game, I applause to you.
Bro same I remember the pool level and I was 5 or 6 at the time so most of the game was spent there for me. I couldn’t get past a certain part, but I don’t remember what it was. Maybe someday I’ll get it on my pc :)
Imagine being in your house and you're watching TV or your holo screen and outside slowly but surly garbage is building all around you. All of a sudden the TV blacks out and the Buy N Large theme plays and the CEO tells you it's time to get on-board for a 5 year cruise. The National Guard starts knocking on people's doors and advises them it's time to go. Some refuse, but this is a mandatory cruise. You head out of your home, only to see waste everywhere. In the distance you see the massive BNL starliners looming before you and the terminals. Location: Newark, New Jersey. Close to BNL headquarters.
HOLY MOTHER OF NOSTALGIA. This game is my childhood

Wow kkk
The game is available on PC on Steam
Yes please
no really, it wasnt a good game at all and a remaster wouldnt gain that much money
I always thought Wall-E's whole personality came from being the last clean up unit. This game's prologue makes me think he's always been like that.

the fact that i remember most of these levels and mini games says alot about how goddamn good this game is.
Really surprised a game like this was released so late in the PlayStation 2's life cycle
Even up to 2011 ps2 was still releasing games.
Toy Story 3 and Despicable Me got PS2 games in 2011, FIFA/PES 2014 came out in 2013 too

I will forever hold a grudge against my dad for selling off the PS2. That machine had some great games that I'd still love to play up to this day.

When Wall-e for ps2 has better content and less glitches on the first release than most games today.
