I have the Diva Lights palette and for those who have aging eyelids - don’t fear. I’m one of those who prefers matte in the crease, but decided to use it like Patti demonstrated. I have loose skin on my eyelids, which are typically called “double eyelids “. I was afraid to draw attention to this, but this palette gives the eyelids a “blurring” glow affect that is flattering. I have hooded lids & have always stayed matte in crease, as well as everywhere else. BUT, I bought these 2 palletes & I can actually get away with these shimmers by CT. Never have I thought I could..as long as there is a darker shade for "crease", it looks beautiful. You look beautiful in everything, so I can't even compare. But you inspire me ❤️
CT is still my "go to" brand because it's so fast, simple and Glowy, but never overdone. Pillow Talk is my favorite for a classic look that's fast and easy. I've been on the fence with these two so thank you for your beautiful looks and thorough review!

I Luv LUv LUV the way your look turned out! Looks sooooooo pretty on you! I truly appreciate that you follow instructions and used the products as intended. An other youtuber applied the shadows differently and her eyelook turned out looking like just 1 shade. It made the palettes look unimpressive.

I’m not opposed to shimmer all over since I had a bare minerals makeover done as part of a pamper day at Marriott Hotel back in 2008. I actually purchased the two loose shimmer eye shadows used that day and have since used them up and purchased replacements. It actually really looks stunning and I love the lighter of the two palettes. They are so nice for an every day look when they go so light and blended. X

I'm going to skip Star Aura because I got the Tom Ford First Frost quad and I think the looks will be pretty much the same on the eye. But Diva Lights is so pretty. Might get that.

There is a reason they are placed in the quad a certain way...Jena’s application sucked. If you will stray from CT’s expertise...you better be good at it.

Lovely looks. I noticed you did the concealer after you applied the shadows, I have the queen of glow pallette & get a bit of fall out which makes me look tired, will do concealer after. The 2nd pallette looks more versatile & cool toned.

Your eye looks with Charlotte’s new eyeshadow palettes are gorgeous, Patty! I just ordered the Diva Lights palette off her website prior to watching your video, and now I wish I had also ordered the Star Aura palette as well! I understand she is coming out with a third palette exclusive to her website on December 29th called Eyes of a Star. That palette has more warm, rusty tones and a couple of mattes. Jena Froese received them in PR from Charlotte, and she swatched and also applied it. You might like that palette because of the mattes!

Your winged eye look is spectacular, you look like a modern day Cleopatra or Nefertiti! Personally, I would also prefer the Star Aura palette as it is light, fresh and work appropriate. The price per gram is really steep, but then again it would take me several months before hitting pan and all shades are equally wearable.
Both looks you created are gorgeous..I have most of those pallets you mentioned but the exagger eyes is not one I reach for alot but after watching this im going to give it a little more attention and a bit more of a go.. and if that doesn't work then maybe I will have to get the star aura quad.

I just found your channel, I love your content! Star aura looked beautiful on you, but since the palette has less than half of the product of a normal quad for the same price I will be passing. I really want the fire rose quad, but it seems it is not available in the US but is in the UK and Canada. Hope she sells it in the US again soon!

How come you didn’t use the new eyeliner duo that came out with this collection? It has a duo eyeliner of black and mettalic champagne but you used the older black eyeliner and not the new one?
Because I didn’t purchase it. And didn’t want to borrow a tester of an eyeliner in case somebody touched it. These products haven’t come out at Nordstrom yet so i can’t buy them until they do.

I place an order on CT website and i went to the wring address. So sad about this,I had oder the knew nudes ,foundation brush and whole lot more 😥 Makes me sad too think it will not get replace . Like your video enjoy it But I will not place anymore orders . Such a bad experience . 😞
With holidays that is very common. It happens to me a lot from all delivery companies even in regular times. I now put “yellow 2-story house” in the 2nd address line.
I think it said something about of combination of something and Matte ? I was confused by that. None of my shades were Matte the closest it had to a Matte was that dark satin. 🤷🏻♀️
To honest it's just looking same with little more sparkle but are you really willing to spend the money and for shades that are in other brands to be honest nothing to go run and get sorry.

I would just get the bedroom black one unless you really are going to use the champagne color. I don’t see myself using that one much

They describe some of the palettes themselves on the Charlotte Tilbury site as having mattes though? So the Charlotte Tilbury site is wrong?
