OH JEEPERS , I've GOOFED again🤷♀️🤪🥴 Reason why I called them Eyes of a Star through the entire video. LOL. As I looked at Charlotte Tilbury Website, the first Palette that appears is the "Eyes of a Star" (i had no idea she has now 3 palettes, when I bought there were only 2, and in the images on Instagram they're only 2 palettes shown) so, I had no idea she has 3 now) So, as I looked them up, the first Palette that pulls up is the Eyes of a Star Palette so I'm thinking these are called that, and the names of each palettes are Diva Lights and Star Aura, and they are inspired by Flawless Filter. 🥴🤪🤷♀️🤣 Hope that makes sense. SO SORRY for the confusion, I have just returned from time off for the holidays and had no idea she launched 1 more Palette. YIKES. I apologize,, totally my bad. LOL. I like to be thorough in my review, but when it comes to names, I am a HOT MESS🤣🤣🤣
Maybe try them over her jewel pots to up the intensity a teeny bit or her diva light wands if you want a finish to dry down more. You can also dab some of the free diamonds lipstick if you want some extra sparkle and glossiness as a sticky base

@@taniafounder306 yes but you are getting less product, so it’s like paying more overall. If you got the same amt of grams as her other palettes, the price would be much higher.. so sneaky and bc of that I will NOT be picking it up! Shame!

You know you've said it best. Do you think it's due to her selling? I heard she sold out. I'm not sure but that's really down and dirty because I bought those as soon as they released thinking that I was either getting what I bought in the others I have or the fire🔥 rose 🌹 palette. That's really sad being sneaky with how hard times are right now. I know make up isn't a must but dang it's a beautiful way to try and keep your mind right. Stay safe and Happy New Year's.

Great review as always. I received a Sephora gift card for my birthday, so I decided to give one of these a try. I have aging “double” eyelids - you know, a lot of real estate has shrunk but my eyes can’t be called hooded. You confirmed that the palette I ordered might work for me and my transition to more ethereal makeup looks.

The new palettes are way over priced BUT I’m in love with the Star ⭐️ Aura Palette, the 2nd palette you applied! I’ve never purchased a Charlotte Tilbury palette but Tara I think I have to buy it! I’m finally going to be able to buy the HollyWood Flawless Filter now that they have new shades!!! My parents got me some gift cards for Christmas 2 are Sephora and Charlotte Tilbury gift cards so I really think I’m going to go for it. I have also been wearing shade 5 in the CT Hollywood Flawless Filter, and yes, its too dark for me especially in the winter. 4 or 4.5 will definitely work better. Its crazy, I'm south Asian, from the Indian subcontinent, but you and I have such similar undertones. Your shades always work so well for me.
I purchased CT products from Patty Alonso for my daughter for Christmas! I bought Hollywood Flawless Filter and I am so excited for her to try it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! I included my daughter's favorite CT product- the Airbrush powder (of course!), the Darling palette- which will be her first eye shadows from CT, and Charlotte's new setting spray! I think I own more Charlotte Tilbury than any other product line. I know the cost per gram- sucks!, But they are so good!!!

My favorite foundations are the Chanel le beige and the YSL all in one glow so I don’t think I can add it under them😂 I did order one of the Charlotte quads. I am blown away by the price!
You look gorgeous (as always!). I think that normally Charlotte’s quads are ridiculously priced. But charging the same amount for nearly half the product is insane. I know that CT collectors such as yourself are willing to pay that amount but..yikes...that is painful!! LOLOL

The Hollywood Flawless Filter is everything!!! I have oily skin and the Hollywood Flawless Filter works wonders for me. It’s not overly glowy, it’s just gives a soft focus glow, very lit from with in. I use Tatcha Silk Canvas as a primer and it works will with it. I’m going to get 5.5 in the Hollywood Flawless Filter as I’ve been using 6 for awhile now.
I had a feeling these palettes wouldn’t work for me because of the lack of depth but I was like let me wait and see how it looks on Tara Lynn. It’s obvious we’re not the same skin tone but I can tell the depth of a palette based on your demos. I’m disappointed that the grams are less and the cost is the same as her normal quads. I’ll pass on the quads.

I wish I waited for your review! I got the star aura and it didn’t really show up on my skin tone. So I ordered the diva lights. Haven’t received it yet but now I’m thinking these aren’t worth the price tag. Better off getting one of the newer Pat McGrath quads :)

I love my Hollywood Flawless Filter and I use the same shade as you do Tara, number 5. I am so excited to get my hands on the 4.5 as the 5 is a bit orange. Sometimes I like to use it alone with no foundation, it’s beautiful. Is this available now at Nordstrom? Great review Tara😘😘

Just got the Star Aura palette and my thoughts are just as yours, its very light indeed (and I am light skinned with no tan right now) So I tkink its most suitable for very fair skin. Love the formula but wished the shades were a little deeper.

Because 5 is to orange and 4 does not look really great as a colour. Same as with you 4 is to light and 5 to warm . Do you think 4,5 is really a mix of 4 and 5? Or is the undertone different?
Definitely passing on these and glad to do so. I have almost all of her quads so these don’t scream out “gotta have em!” to me personally. Which is great because it also bothers me that it’s the same price for less product.

I have shade 4 but don’t like her shade range on the flawless filter. Happy to hear there’s more shades now. But overall nothing compares to the By terry CC in shade sunny flash 🥰 I’ve gone through tons of bottles

I wish I had seen your video before I pulled the trigger on these! Got both Star Aura and Diva lights....tried the former and decided it wasn't going to have enough dimension. Never even swatched Diva lights. Both of them are going back.
The price breakdown per gram is insane! Woah! I bought the Star Aura and I'm enjoying it. If you're someone who expects the same formula/performance as her other shadows, as mentioned or are looking for a one stop shop quad, you'll most likely be disappointed. However, if you're a CT entusiast or collector and love a soft, airy, smoothing look on the eye, I think you'll like these. I paired mine with mattes from the Bejewelled Eyes and got such a beautiful and shining bronzy-gold look. Are they worth the price tag? I agree, not really, but I'm glad I picked one up

Good Morning Tara🌞! I know you are a huge Charlotte Tilbury fan! And I know you love the flawless filter and her magic cream. I have to share with you, I picked up her magic serum as well as her Wonderglow face Primer. If you haven’t tried them, at least pick up the minis, which is what sold these products for me! I had gotten the mini set from Sephora when they were running their VIP sale. I have been hooked! Hooked so much that I went and picked up the large bottles. I am especially hooked on her serum! I do not know what it is she does with these products?! But, just like the flawless filter, ones skin glows beautifully!!! I LOVE THEM! As always, I LOVE your videos! Enjoy your day! 🤗🌟💗 on a side note, I’m curious regarding these palettes. How do they compare to the latest ByTerry Paris palette that you recently reviewed? The color story is quite similar. However, the ByTerry seems to have more depth. And for the price there’s more shadows to create looks. I’d LOVE your feedback!👍🏼

Why haven’t I thought to use the flawless filter mixed with foundation!? Lmao I am going to try that. I use it with the CT foundation and honestly love the way it looks. I think she recently came out with some even deeper shades of the flawless filter

Thank you so much💋🦋 I was wearing the Gucci foundation I recently reviewed. And, was wearing the Charlotte Tilbury Bronzer, and the Charlotte Tilbury Blush in first love. I normally never wear that blush, but it's SO pretty....❤💋
I purchased the Diva Lights palette first, and after seeing the Star Aura palette in another video, I went back and purchased that one!😝 I like the Star Aura palette the best also, mainly because the colors are a bit cooler toned, and so ethereal. I think the Diva Lights palette would be pretty just using the three lighter shadows without the dark define shade. It’s nice to have a shadow that can be used as a liner though, which does add to the versatility of Diva Lights. I wonder how this formula could be so much lighter in weight without having to deconstruct the palette. It would be interesting if someone actually did that to compare it to Charlotte’s other formula. I personally wouldn’t have the guts to destroy two perfectly good palettes to try it!😬
Thank you for the review and tutorials! I just got both of these and feel a little underwhelmed. The tones are similar to Tom Ford First Frost but I prefer the Tom Ford formula, which blends slightly better and is less glittery (or at least the lightest shade in Star Aura has much more glitter than the TF First Frost lightest shade). Update: the third palette was released this morning and it looks so similar to the shades in the other two, especially Star Aura!?!? I’m not picking the third one up.

Thanks so much for posting this! This is an absolute no for me. That price point is just simply insane, I would never pay that much for soft eyeshadows or eyeshadow in general really. I love her original quads, but at this price point all 4 eyeshadows have to look different, blend easily, and by no means should I have to pack on the product. I love the eyes to mesmerize and feel those have even more of a color payoff than these look to have, so I would recommend those over these. Great video and thanks for your honest feedback!

Ahhh, thank you so much🦋 So, my natural hair color is the same, but I bought darker extensions. So, before I was wearing clip in extensions that had some blonde in the bottom. But, I got tired of the highlights and bought a set that would match my real hair and LOVE it. Having so much fun being all dark... 😁 And these extensions match my natural hair to a perfection. (Well, not necessarily my natural hair, I do get it colored to cover my grey about every 3 months lol. 🤪). HAPPY NEW YEAR MY FRIEND🎉🥂🌟

I think she just released a mini size of the Hollywood flawless filter too... I think the minis are 10ml and only in 4 of the shades but not bad if you don't want to invest in the large bottle off the bat. I have the full size in light and love it...I use it under my foundation but only on the high points because I work in fluorescent lighting with 4 computer screens in front of my face so yeah. Stunning product. The palettes are pretty but at that price think I'll pass...I wear glasses (did I mention 4 screens? 😂) so I like a little more impact so it's still visible

I’m 60 with dark brown eyes and very light skin and I thought the colors in Star Aura were really pretty.I’d like to invest in a CT quad but do you think I’d be better off with the Pillow Talk quad instead? Don't get me wrong I think they are beautiful, soft colors and I think they are perfect for mature skin. If you're ok with paying the same price for half the product, I say go for it. It may be exactly what you've been looking for❤ I just have a hard time with the same price half the amount. That doesn't sit well with me🤷♀️🤦♀️ But nevertheless, they are beautiful ❤❤ Hope that helps my friend🦋💋

#TaraLynn i think they are really really pretty 1 and done shades. I mean honestly the lighter i believe Arora is way to light to even try and use all the shades. To me that's a waste for how much they cost.
That's something I never even looked at before buying. Honestly I'd use both of those mostly for just 1 shade looks. WOW why didn't I wait and watch you? I bought those as soon as they was released as well. Im not mad but I was really hoping for more of fire and rose.
