my favorite part of this video is when he said "take your pry bar and "pryse it up" " Man I remember my grandad saying that...they dont make em like that any more
Hello Ms Granny, I hope you have enjoyed this fine day. You and my mom, I think, have a few things in common. She is 93, raised on a farm ( Tuscaloosa Co.) and is like you, happy to see your family working hard to feed our country. She told me the other day ,the first time she went to town on a date, was with a boy who's family was loggers. Yep they went to town in a pupwood truck.
Since the frame broke on both sides in the same spot, wouldn't you think that's a weak point in the design? I do, and I'd modify the frame at those points with metal "splints" to prevent this mishap from happening again.
Hello. I have a suggestion when welding. I was taught to use aluminum as a back metal when welding. The weld will not stick to the aluminum, giving you an easier solution to weld in situations where you need to fill holes and gaps. Hope it helps!!
Daniel - I enjoy the program. ( SEATBELTS ) A remedy that you may be interested in, I have a 2024 GMC Sierra that won't shut up with seatbelt warning sounds. The one good thing that GMC is they put seatbelts for the middle passenger in the frontseat it's under the doghouse. All you do is take the male buckel from the middle seat and plug it into the drivers receiver plug and your done. Didn't cost a dime. And naturally this is only if somebody wanted to do this. David
My apologies Daniel I just caught the video on your new truck and it has captain chairs so there is no middle seat belt setup (my bad). Even yours is brand new maybe something from junk yard would still fit.
The best way to fertilize your corn is use a pop up fertilizer and you need to knife in your fertilizer at 210 gallons of nitrogen per acre. Putting fertilizer on top of the ground you are losing at least 30% of your fertilizer!! If you can borrow a knife rig do a 100 acres with it. I bet you you will see a big different in your yield. Don’t put 80 pounds of nitrogen out with your spray rig. You are wasting a lot of money buddy!! Try the knife rig and you going to see big yield difference!!!
I’d rather have to work in my coat, I’m in the minority down here because I love winter! Bring me cold, long sleeves and jackets any day over this stifling heat we deal with yearly😫
Hey Daniel Dan here from North Queensland Australia i bloody love your videos I was looking at the gear box on our bush hog yesterday and it said Selma Alabama and I instantly thought of you 👍👍
That piece of the y drop you are trying to weld, have you thought of just cutting it off and welding a new piece of pipe to it? I realize it’s over but, next time maybe?
Daniel, I had a similar unexplained noise coming from under my (2007 Sierra 2500HD) truck. Numerous visits to mechanics and they checked everything, or so I thought. The other day I found the correct terms for a fruitful google search. It turns out it is my parking brake. This video is 8 years old and had thousands of replies because they had the same problem. I hope you didn’t have a parking brake problem instead of the transmission. I know it sounds unlikely because I too thought my transmission or rear differential was coming apart because it sounded like that.
Good afternoon, I've been trying to get a hold of someone because I ordered a Triple R farms shirt on Dec. 27th order #1328 and haven't received it yet. I've sent numerous emails and messages. I hate to resort to commenting here about it, but there are responses posted here and I'm hoping to get one. I'm hoping we can resolve this either by shipping the shirt or refund.
Morning Daniel. I just saw a IG post about a barn owl house (plastic) that can be mounted on the eave of you barns/sheds to control the mouse problem. I didn't catch the vendor but may be something you can check out. Barn owls are great in the mouse deletion game.
Daniel brass won’t weld. If you could find a brass pipe or rod and put it in there I bet you would be floored with the results. I was first time I seen it.
Seems like unverferth would have to fix that sprayer for you. On the same note, I’ve seen several people with the tongues breaking out of their new case planters. The Ivers had a catastrophic breakdown on one of theirs. I can’t remember if case paid for the repair or not but other people are having the same problem. By the way, love the new truck!
They say if you are within 2 inches of your row is as good as being on top of it.
My neighbor Y drops and raises great corn

Morning, Granny! Dan said a mouthful in 4 simple words: “always check your work!” True indeed! Wise man!

Brass works well too
old trick would be to use copper rod or carbon rod as a backer for weld
Copper pipe inside that tube you are welding and it won't stick.
Daniel your videos make my day,! Tell granny hello
You got it, thanks for watching 👍😁

That piece of the y drop you are trying to weld, have you thought of just cutting it off and welding a new piece of pipe to it? I realize it’s over but, next time maybe?
We used to broad cast our basil fert come back to band apply big difference in early growth which transferred right through to increased yield.
Great thanks for the info 👍😁

Great video! Hi Granny!
Hello 😊
At one time you were not planning on planting cotton, has this changed?
As long as they have that 690 sitting in the yard I’m betting they plant cotton😉
you could do is put the 80 units sideress with the planter.

You can get them at ag supply store like TSC etc
How do you keep the nitrogen from from leaving since it’s not in the soil
Need to get you some cats to catch mice and rats!!
You can use copper the weld will not stick!
Perfect thanks for the info 👍😁
@@TripleRFarms love you videos keep up the good work!
You need a brass backer. Like a brass rod.
Good point, thanks for watching 👍😁
If we don’t put it in the soil here in Louisiana we lose a lot of nitrogen
Daniel brass won’t weld. If you could find a brass pipe or rod and put it in there I bet you would be floored with the results. I was first time I seen it.
You don't use anhydrous ammonia in Alabama?
We use to on our farm, thanks for watching 👍😁
Are you cleaning the picker to sell it. In an earlier video you said that you weren't going to grow any cotton this year.
No we have changed our mind and we are going to plant some, thanks for watching 👍😁
Hey 👵 u 🪨‼️
Why don't you build a big shop so you don't have to work outside?
Oh yea I’m sure everybody has plenty of money laying around for an enclosed shop big enough to fit tractors in, that’s not expensive at all!🤦🏻♂️🤣
Send them a check ✔️

I sure hope you are taking notes from your Dad. You will miss his knowledge and skills.
