Nah, Yuta is tough in the beginning, but that win condition when it activates though is insane 😭😭😭
Yuta is a menace with his dead girl lingering around
Yuta is only good at level 2 and higher. To get the cursed energy yo level 2 quickly, you have to attack with your teammate.
You get the cooperation bonus to your energy level. Then hit R1 for his courage ability to deal 25% damage.
At level 3, his courage ability does about 40% damage but with determination activated, it’s close to 60%.
Yuta might be the worst at the start but when rika comes out the damage is crazyy

Im pretty good with megumi, his frog shikigami is broken. characters like gojo and sukuna have teleported right into the frog, after the frog attack you can follow up with a combo.
I hope whoever made the A.I or the rush battle mode in general was a Mappa employee

Hanami can be really hard as well in high level
I'm already tired of the Sakuna+Gojo teams those two together are extremely frustrating to fight and very difficult to win because their kits are extremely potent with tons of damage, utility and range.

It's legit just the super armor from sukuna I can perfect block a gojo( even though gojo teleport mixup can be annoying) against sukuna I can perfect block or inumaki counter and he just super armors through priority

I feel like Megumi is very similar to Yuta except that his big win condition is reaching lvl 3 and being able to counter break with his shikigami, but I don't think he's as strong as Yuta is with Rika even if it is technically easier to achieve it. I feel like when summoned maybe the Shikigami should instead of attacking on a command, you could assign them to target someone and they'd auto fight them while Megumi acts freely. And then maybe he should be able to OPTIONALY summon both Nue and Divine Dog Totality at lvl 3 to either disrupt both enemies or use both on one and attack with them for better damage. The big problem would be their AI, they either end up as too smart and feel OP to fight against or they're too dumb and feel worthless to use. I see why they went with them being bound to a control because of that, but maybe having both of them out at lvl 3 could still work if they were bound differently, like maybe down RT desummons them instead of down RB or holding RB summons both at lvl 3 so that you can choose to desummon still. Megumi is my favorite character in the series but I suck with him so I just hope there's some kind of tweak.

When you knock someone away you need to go after the other opponent this game is meant for jumping literally one v ones are good but the most of my wins im knocking someone away then going help my partner everytime

I just realized I’ve been looking at this game all wrong by comparing it to recent anime arena fighters. I don’t think that’s what they were going for at all. This is like a modern JJK version of Jojo’s Eyes of Heaven. If you enjoyed that type of game this game seems like it would be a good fit.
That said, still don’t think it’s worth full price as is. It seems like a solid $40-$50 release price game.
I honestly compare it to J Stars Victory Vs with how chaotic it can get.
@@DayvonR64 for sure, that’s another comparison I made after the fact. It’s kinda like Jstars + Eyes of Heaven imo, and honestly these co-op battles look pretty fun.

You really need a steady partner when playing as todo so your teammates understand positioning better idk how many times I’ve had to switch places with a teammate to get them away from purple then having to switch places with an enemy to make them take the blast instead of me 😂😂😂

sukunas no doubt the most easy and op character, his domain insta kills and lands easy asf, his armored attacks can be spammed the whole time leaving the enemy helpless, and his fire arrow is crazy strong. could def see him getting nerfed

One of the first 3 characters I played was Megumi and he’s pretty solid. Nue is good for stuns and setups and the wolf is good combo support or “sic em boy!”. Frog plus Nue plus combo is Megumi’s highlight for me rn

He’s not that hard. If you use his Shinigami Combo Cursed technique, he does a ton of damage. Otherwise, spamming his first combo over and over is not going to do much.

I feel like it depends in other games are you good with technical characters this game is chock filled with technical characters and I think that’s what people don’t like me personally I love technical characters but that is not common in arena fighters

Todo is not actually that complicated, his technique can be difficult to use correctly but that’s about it. He only has 2 moves that do damage and only one extendable combo. His standard combo is way too long and you have to be max meter to use his combo extension to guarantee a big hit. He’s really underwhelming it’s kinda sad
Real the no damage makes him pretty much unplayable in grade 1 lobbies
