Thank you for sharing this information. I live a rural area where we have our own well water. Even though we have a water softener, I am constantly fighting hard water rust stains. I have used the chemical rust removers such as Whink , but it ruins the finish of my sinks, tubs, and toilets. My laundry whites are impossible to keep white. I've tried other natural mixtures. I am always willing to try new "recipes" using natural ingredients.
I mostly use apple cider vinegar and baking soda for everything. I'm hoping this will give me another option I can try, so I can alternate between the both of them.
