Tehran Two Level Highway - بزرگراه دو طبقه صدر

"Sadr - Niayesh" project consists of a 10,252m long "Sadr - Niayesh" tunnel that will connect the two highways to complete the upper part of Tehran's highway ring and a main flyover 22.7 m wide and 6.4 km long "Sadr" two level highway. this project will constitute a turning point in development projects in the capital city. Connecting "Niyayesh" and "Sadr" highways by a tunnel was imperative.
construction started in late March 2011 and will be finished in 22 months as a new national record in road construction.
After finishing the constructions, "Sadr - Niayesh" tunnel will go on top 20 longest tunnels in the world and also top 10 longest urban tunnel in the world.
Meanwhile, Niyayesh tunnel is being constructed over 10 km and will be finished by February 2013. Sadr highway is being developed into two levels over 6.4 km and the project will be finished by February 2013.
