- I have stressed and agonized over this video as whether it's too long or if I could have summed it up in a shorter or different way instead of going into all the details of each day. I even filmed this video twice because the first time it was way over an hour long and I forgot to mention a bunch of things because my mind was so scattered. In the end there were parts of each video I did that I liked and wanted to include but didn't have the strength to fully re-film. My brain is fried and I forgot to wear the same outfit in both versions I filmed so you are going to see my outfit change from time to time. I'm sorry about that. I had seriously considered re-filming in hopes of it being shorter but I didn't want to delay putting this video any longer as it's already been almost a week. This video just broke my heart all over again 💔.
Krystle, there are no words to express how sorry I am for the loss of beloved Riley. You know how much I adored that boy. And you know I feel the same way you do about fur babies.
Without undermining the love others feel about their little ones I have to say it’s much harder for those of us, who do not have any kids.
Charlie is my son. I do not think of him as a doggie. He is my baby, my real son. I have been dreading the last day for the past like 10 years because I feel I will die from a heartbreak when he leaves this earth. Sometimes I would wake up in the middle of night with this fear.
So I know how much this hurts you to lose your baby Riley. It’s like your heart is ripped out of your chest. I cannot even. This past few days you have been on my mind constantly.
I burned candles to help shine the way for Riley when he crosses over.
I take Charlie everywhere with me. He never was without me one night ever. I cannot imagine him not being here. 😔
The emptiness we feel when they’re gone is unbearable.
I wish I lived closer so I could help somehow- at least to come over and bawl with you.
You and Aleks have been the best parents to your boy and will be forever. You will see him again. I firmly believe that. Love doesn’t disappear, it just changes the form.

Thank you Katie. I agree with you completely. He was definitely our child. And he seemed to have qualities that weren’t always usual cat behaviour. Sometimes he almost seemed part dog or part human to me lol. That cat could carry on a full on conversation with me as you know. I feel he was definitely sent to us for a reason. ❤️ It’s been hard. We brought home his blanket, ashes, fur clipping and paw print. The fur clipping hit me the most. I was ready to bawl over it but kept it together for Aleks. After he went to bed I cried.
I agree with you about us ladies without human babies. I feel the same way about my dog and cat I have now. I dread those days to come but also cherish the ones I have now with them to give them love and have their love.

You held up pretty well considering everything.
They say we can survive everything. And pretty much we do but this - this is like burying a child to me.
I wish you lived closer. You could come over when Aleks is at work. To take your mind off of things for at least few short moments.

@@babypeanutpie Thank you, I’m glad you ladies agree. I just think we get bonded to fur babies and the fact we have nobody (children) makes it so much harder.
They are our babies, our best friends, our companions. For many the only companions during the days or nights. 😔
It’s just not fair they live only this long. They should live at least 30 years 😔.

Hi, I am so sorry. I always enjoyed Your Videos w/Riley. At the end ofJune 23rd then 30,2020We lost Our Boy & Girl they were litter mates. We took them in at 3 & a half wks. I’m so, so sorry. It’s just heartbreaking to let them go, I really believe he was telling you he was ready. I had a dog many years ago who suffered a mild stroke and he did the circling thing, always in the same direction. It’s very distressing. Praying in time you will be able to laugh and smile again and the precious memories he gifted to you. Run free from illness Riley 🌈🙏 xx
Thank you. Yes Riley too seemed to always circle in the same direction as well. Always to his left. So walking counter clockwise. It was scary enough to see the first time but to see it in his final days where it was almost constant was very distressing to me so I can only imagine how he felt. 😞
@@LifewithKrystle Yes Timmy went to the left every time. You always wonder that because they can’t speak, it was the same with my Tasha Beagle when the end came because of her epilepsy. But the truth is they do speak to you in a much deeper and far more honest way than words, we heard our babies say they’d had enough xx

Riley became such a part of all our lives (your viewers). I've been watching your channel for years, and Riley was just such a presence, and like so many others, I fell in love with him. I have a cat named Riley too (our cat is a ginger boy). I always loved seeing how loved your Riley was, and have laughed along with you at his meows and antics. He really did have the best life with you, Krystle. What a beautiful loving home you provided him; he knew nothing but the purest love from you and Aleks. I hope you can find comfort in knowing this, as we could all see just how pampered and happy and content he was in your videos. Always getting cuddles from his mommy and daddy. Having to say goodbye to a fur-baby is so devastating, and I wish I could take away your pain. Riley is no doubt playing over the Rainbow Bridge and watching you and wishing he could comfort you as he has always done. This video was so hard to watch. We all loved Riley so much and his photos and videos brought us so much joy. But Riley was your precious baby boy. It must have been one of the hardest decision that you and Aleks had to make together. But you put your pain aside and did the right thing. To set Riley free, so he could cross over the Rainbow Bridge where he would be greeted by Sneaker, Boots, Maggie and Katie. I cried on the day you put Riley down and I cried again watching this video. You and Aleks have my deepest sympathy in the loss of Riley. Hopefully has the days and weeks pass by all the wonderful memories you have of Riley will help to ease your pain. I love you both very much and you are in my thoughts always.

Hello Krystle , I’ve following your channel for a few years now but I normally don’t make comments on the channels I watch only in a few occasions like now. I have a son , 5 reborn babies and a 11 years old Yorkie dog girl who’s the love of my life besides my son , so I wanted to tell you in the midst of your unfortunate lost I say to you HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! Yes because you’ve been a mother of a furry baby boy and a very loving and excellent one when someone is a pet parent has basically the same responsibility to care and love him as you would a human child , whenever I take my Yorkie to the vet they refer to me as Precious mom , Precious is my Yorkie by the way. So my point is that you should not feel sad of not having a human baby yet because you are a mother already. Always have trust and faith in God with him everything is possible, God bless you and your husband 💐

Oh, Krystle, I am so sorry that you have had to let your Riley go. I had no idea what you were going through these past months as remember I haven't been on UA-cam because of babysitting my great--grandson but I do recall when Riley first became sick and then seemed to recover. That was quite a while back. You did all you could and more for him this time around, and In listening to you ( I did listen for the entire video ) I definitely felt like he was your baby, and the bond with him was so deep. It so resonated with me when you said he was your kid. Grief hurts so much as you already know from losses in the past. Making this video and the memorial one will surely help in honouring Riley's precious life with you. He was an adorable cat and so talkative and lovable. I was moved to hear that he would stay with you when you were sick. Cats will do that. I will be thinking of you a lot in the next little while. Krystle. I have just had a cat 🐈 😓 put to sleep unfortunately it was sudden. I was with her when she got put to sleep. She will forever be in my memory and in my heart 💔 I am so sorry. I can relate to how much you loved him I love animals and I really cried I could feel the emotional connection you had to him. Even though for personal reasons I have come away from the hobby you and Riley have always been a channel and the cats watch. Rip radical Riley you will always be special to us I found you in 2017 and your channel has got me through some of the hardest times your real and so genuine. I really love the raw emotion you put into this he will live on and he will watch over everything. X

Oh no sorry for you're little fur baby dying 🥺. Before I had my son I had a sianese cat for the longest time. I know I have allergy's to them. I had to give her baths alot just to own her. And yes you get attached to them like their you're baby's so I know how that is I had her because I thought I'd never be able to have a real baby and when she died I was so sad 🥺😭 to so I totally feel how you feel. I have watched your channel for years, but lately as Riley got older and became sick I was dreading this moment for you. Riley was a special cat with two special people in his life, you both took wonderful care of him and I could see how much you all loved each other. I definitely didn't want to ask what would trigger that feeling, for you, that he was ready to go. That's a hard question, especially before, while you are still trying to give him a comfortable rest of his time here. I know my ex-husband's idea is a bit different than mine (concerns about when Prince might be ready). But, I feel that you read him very well (my opinion, not to be taken as advice, but, maybe peace, from another cat lover, that I feel you were right on target).
I'm so sorry. I know I don't deal, or say the right things with this sort of things. And when I say that you are so much better at this stuff, I mean that talking out my feelings like this, doesn't come out right, so I avoid talking about it. Lovemesomerebornbabies has seen the one time I tried to open up about my raw grief, it wasn't pretty. I admire you for not only being able to open up about it publicly, but also to be able to use the right words.

My 14 year old toy poodle,Annie,was always with me,she even went to doctors appointments with me.setting in my lap was where she wanted to be.
A day came when she was having breathing problems.she had a hart condition.
So I rushed her to our vet.

I put Anny in her chair beside me.and just a few minuets, she came to me
And she died in my lap.
I screamed.i miss her so.its awful to loose a pet.
