The irony is that, that route structure from Baltimore actually would have worked. There are three really small airlines doing similar right now for the past five years and all seem to be doing well.

They have since been broken up and sold for scrap metal.

But because of rules at the time they had to register as a airline like UPS and FedEx to be able to carry the cargo. Even though they never had any airplanes themselves.

The botched IPO wasn't Baltia's fault, their attempts to fix things through the courts went nowhere, and two years later the SEC says, "you actually are a public company" Most years include the summary "Baltia searches for capital with no success."
"Half As Airworthy" is an airline I would fly on. As long as they meet FAA minimums, it would still be pretty safe, and the tongue in cheek factor is epic. 🤣
As someone who lives on Long Island, I've never heard anyone pronounce Islip as "Is Lip" before...but I guess that is what it looks like though... (the correct pronunciation sounds like "I Slip")

Having been born in Trenton an currently living in the same county, I'm hurt that the only time an airline other than frontier wanted to fly to Trenton only did it because of the T in their name.

The "I" in Islip is long. It is pronounced Eye-slip with the emphasis on slip. Over the loudspeaker, it sounds like Iceland. The airport is used for smaller flights to New York when regional airlines do not have facilities at JFK or LaGuardia which are relatively close to Islip -- 37 miles which is nothing by air.
