Hi! There is a small correction which I would like to make. Even I use the avent sterilizer since day 1. It has been suggested by Phillips company itself in their manual to use only 90 ml water for the heating pan and not more or less from that c cause it will hinder the exact sterilization time required. So kindly look into it.

You guys can do both the ways. Air dry or direct from the sterilizer main aim is to "sterilize" jo Ho Gaya... don't let her confuse u after watching this video I don't trust her methods 100% just do what you feel is right

So many mistakes 1.opening tap water way before starting cleaning process, wasting of water is a big no 2. You must not touch the sterilised nipple, it contaminates it, no touch technique must be used

I don’t feel you need a steriliser I just boil water in a kettle put the all the clean bottles in a bowl then add the boiling water and some salt and let them sit in the salt water for fifteen minutes that’s it and I do this once a day. That’s how my mom used to do it and how the doctor taught her and how I also do it and which my doctor also agrees is the best way. Boiling them on a stove creates this white residue which can’t be good and the I feel the microwave steriliser can be harmful to babies as it has radiation and I feel the electrical ones seems just a useless expense when the salt water option is a natural safe way to clean bottles plus I bought a bottle stand where the bottles air dry without touching anything that might or might not be that clean ie towels or cloth.
Mansi I hope you are aware that bathroom is the most unhygienic place in the entire house. I'm surprised that you considered washing baby bottles in your washroom..! Do you wash your regular utensils in your washroom? I hope not ! How much ever clean the washroom might be but it the place where we excrete body waste and even if you keep it sparkling clean it will still have deadly virus and bacteria

Hello mam cant we leave the bottles in d sterlizer after sterilization and use them later.. because i feel how much cleanly you store your sterilized bottle outside they will definitely comes in contact with the microbes present in air..
Good video. This is giving me a guidance on how to clean and sterilize the bottles. The users manual of Avent says the exact ml of water you have to fill in the base of sterilizer. They clearly say not to put more water. According to the manual you are not supposed to touch teats and that’s why avent has supplied a tong to pick it. There should not be any moisture inside the bottle . It should be completely dry. Next time plz read manual of all those equipments ( bottle , sterilizer, bottle warmer etc) before making video. Many of your points are contradicting with instructions of OEM ( original Equipment Manufacturer) .

Hi, i have observed in most of your videos..you waste lot of water... pls save water..... india me kitne log paani ke liye struggle karte hai... and so many people asked desi tarika in case they dnt have steriliser... toh woh log bottles and nipples ko ek bartan me garam pani leke boil karke sterile kar sakti hai... also u kept all bottles on bed on clean cloth but cloth pe bhi bacterias ho sakte hai.. and bed and bathroom is not suitable place to do this stuff..

I use Philips avent feeding bottles as well. The way in which you inserted the nipple inside the ring after sterilization was wrong. The tip of the nipple is not to be touched at all after sterilization, otherwise it hampers the sterilization. Handwashing, even if done, is not enough and you can’t touch an internal sterilized surface with even washed hands. This is the reason why doctors wear sterilized gloves while working on a patient and don’t touch any sterilized instruments even with washed hands (I am a doctor myself). With these philips bottles also there’s a way to push the nipple in without touching the tip.

Take a large vessel fill water boil it .. switch off flame and put the bottles in it and close with a lid... Leave it as it is...take out from the vessel whenever need to feed

We can use electric kettle to sterile feeding bottles....I use this method...not so much time consuming as well as not so much expensive.

Phillips sterilizer main bottles store bhi kar sakte hain alag se nikal kar dobara unhe touch karne ki jarurat nahi hai. And it's time saving.

Do you wash your regular utensils in your washroom? I hope not ! The users manual of Avent says the exact ml of water you have to fill in the base of sterilizer. They clearly say not to put more water.
According to the manual you are not supposed to touch teats and that’s why avent has supplied a tong to pick it. There should not be any moisture inside the bottle . It should be completely dry.
Next time plz read manual of all those equipments ( bottle , sterilizer, bottle warmer etc) before making video.

Hi, i have observed in most of your videos..you waste lot of water... pls save water..... india me kitne log paani ke liye struggle karte hai... and so many people asked desi tarika in case they dnt have steriliser... toh woh log bottles and nipples ko ek bartan me garam pani leke boil karke sterile kar sakti hai... also u kept all bottles on bed on clean cloth but cloth pe bhi bacterias ho sakte hai.. and bed and bathroom is not suitable place to do this stuff..

It is recommended to clean bottles in boiling water for 3 minutes before putting them in sterilizer.. wat u do think
I use Philips avent feeding bottles as well. The way in which you inserted the nipple inside the ring after sterilization was wrong. The tip of the nipple is not to be touched at all after sterilization, otherwise it hampers the sterilization. Handwashing, even if done, is not enough and you can’t touch an internal sterilized surface with even washed hands. This is the reason why doctors wear sterilized gloves while working on a patient and don’t touch any sterilized instruments even with washed hands (I am a doctor myself).
With these philips bottles also there’s a way to push the nipple in without touching the tip.

You could have fixed the nipple in the ring and then sterelised. Even though our hands are cleaned,its not advisable to touch.
