So the song is usually played on a 7 string in drop G# tuning. I played it on my 6 string in a kind of, hybrid tuning. Drop G# just with the high string tuned up to emulate the high string of a 7.
Thanks for providing new content, I've watched every single cover several times. They simply make my day. Glad to see you playing the guitar again. peace.
Yeah dude your great. Super clean and real talent. Keep it up. And I also just wanted to say thanks to you I've found a few new bands to listen too. Make a list for us sometime of some of your favorite music to listen too, any type. Take care man
I was hoping you'd cover more invent eventually I just didn't expect this song haha XD Really glad you chose this one though man! I think you're the first guy to cover on youtube if I'm not mistaken..lol
Yes!!! Been waiting so long for someone to cover this one!!! I tried learning it by ear but the tapping part stumped me. You figured it out with ease! Do more invent, animate :) My band just played a show with them last week Cheers
holy. man, I've been playing for 9 years and watching this really put me in my place damn. I wish I was as good as you. How long have you been playing? Also do you know theory? this is insane.
This is amazing dude, nicely done!! No joke, I would for real pay you to tab this out for me lol. Just not that great at learning by ear. Really want to learn this song, guess I'll just watch your fingers and see if I can get it haha
Nate Newsome Hmm learning it by ear I think I split into 2 days because I wanted to practice the parts I already knew, some of the riffs are pretty fast and needed a fair bit of practice to play up to speed. But, really learning the actual notes took only a few hours, and then when practicing I always hear some little parts I didn't hear correctly the first time, so it's like fine-tuning!
Casey Walle that's awesome, dude. I've been wanting to learn a lot of their new stuff but can't find tabs anywhere lol. I'll just have to start learning by ear like you. Fantastic job once again, man.
Just take your time with it, if you do covers, people are always more stoked to see you play it correctly than caring about who is first on youtube. But, it's always good to have both of those aspects going for you! If you're having trouble with a section just move on to another section and practice that and then go back, main point is to just take your time, and enjoy it!
Yo, quick question about your tone and what program u used to record this. Which plugin/amps etc. should I try out with a Schechter 7 string, and what program did u use to record this cover? (also I subbed cuz I can already tell u take care of your recordings and put effort into your covers and vids)
Honestly this cover was done at a point where I was barely playing at all. I've always recorded with Reaper, and have always put effort into my videos, but back at this time I wasn't doing anything special for tones. I think I just got lucky in that my tone was able to sit well in the mix on this one.
Would you always recommend starting with a six string when it comes to learning guitar? I know it sounds like a rhetorical question but I would love to cover bands like this; northlane, erra etc. but I’m worried I’ll pick up a six string and be limited to covering songs that don’t sound %100 accurate. Thanks for pointers in advance.
WOOFGANG BINO if you’re into Northlane and Invent. Then I’d say get a 7 string. I’m not really a 7 string guy. I like some bands with 7 strings but as for playing I like 6 because I’m more creative on 6 and I feel 7 is more slow but it’s all on how you play it! But from what you’re telling me, I’d recommend getting a 7 string.
As a guitar player myself I'd recommend to start with a 6 string to learn the basics. There are a lot of cool songs from metal bands that'll teach you some useful techniques. You won't be able to pick up a 7 string and instantly playing songs from northlane or erra. I started with the old pwd stiff for example. btw the older erra stuff is played on a 6 string as well.
Haha cheers dude, yeah the hands are fine these days. just not interested in doing covers anymore, i'm writing music that I wanna put out on here soon, it's just a slow process writing alone.
Damn dude, your playing is so clean.
Aiden Lindstrom Cheers dude. :)
Jeez. That tone is perfection and so is the playing.
Jared Wilkerson cheers homie
This is still the cleanest I've ever heard taps on a cover
So the song is usually played on a 7 string in drop G# tuning. I played it on my 6 string in a kind of, hybrid tuning. Drop G# just with the high string tuned up to emulate the high string of a 7.
is it possible to learn Everchanger and Stillworld on a 6 string with this tuning?
Azman Al Aydeross maybe a few songs, really depends on the riffs. Was just lucky I didn't need use of all the strings like a 7 string would.
How’d you find the tab?
The jolteon and marowak make this 10 times better than it already was. So sick man!!!!!!!!
So glad you covered this, man! You killed it! That Skervesen is insane too. I love it.
Some of the most solid covers on UA-cam rn
Had the chance to meet Ben from invent animate. humble and friendly guy. this cover is spot on man. nice work.
Seth C. Puglisi Invent and ERRA need to get their asses to Australia so I can creep on them haha. From what I've seen and heard he's a top bloke!
Seth C. Puglisi that whole band is so nice lol very kind and goofy dudes.
Thanks for providing new content, I've watched every single cover several times. They simply make my day. Glad to see you playing the guitar again. peace.

Your a beast man
The guitar sounds so neat, how had you achieved tune such close to original?
Duuuude! YOU THE MAN FOR THIS❤️
Even when this song came out last year I knew I'd cover it eventually, it's my favourite song from them. :D
I was hoping you'd cover more invent eventually I just didn't expect this song haha XD Really glad you chose this one though man! I think you're the first guy to cover on youtube if I'm not mistaken..lol
Val Whitaker always a bonus being first and yeah I checked to see if anyone had already done it!

holy. man, I've been playing for 9 years and watching this really put me in my place damn. I wish I was as good as you. How long have you been playing? Also do you know theory? this is insane.
I want to play the only notes you’re not playing lol, but this is super good
Some tabs for this would be pretty awesome, amazing cover man!

Fuck yes.
Love your videos man been watching them for a while now! Would love to see you play an Architects song or something off "Drift" from ERRA!
EXIST//MUSIC I remember your profile photo man, definitely seen you here a lot before and I appreciate it!! :D
This is amazing dude, nicely done!! No joke, I would for real pay you to tab this out for me lol. Just not that great at learning by ear. Really want to learn this song, guess I'll just watch your fingers and see if I can get it haha
Is this perfection?
Dayum!! Spot on man... May as well just do them all.
1 newtspoots would be sick definitely a challenge
Are you sure you're not ghost playing? Haha I kid, sweet playing man!
Lol old invent is when someone leaves you, new invent is when you lose someone
@@hyabusa1 yeah, i just really got into greyview when my mom passed
Hey, can you share tab please?
that mustache is awesome makes me jealous
Fucking sick!
Im blown away you're doing this on a 6 string. What's the string gauge you use? I can't believe that tone man great work.
You are the man. Awesome cover, bro. Such an amazing song/album. How did it take you to learn it by ear?
Nate Newsome Hmm learning it by ear I think I split into 2 days because I wanted to practice the parts I already knew, some of the riffs are pretty fast and needed a fair bit of practice to play up to speed. how do you get such a nice tone
Sick cover buddy. You wouldn’t happen to have a GP file for this beauty eh? Cheers
killer cover dude!! do you still have the tabs available?
This is just incredible. What are you using for tones? Axe FX 2?
Believe it or not no it’s not, just recorded direct to pc and used some eq!
@@CaseyWalle What! It has to be an amp sim though?
Not at that time but now days I use tonehub
Yo, quick question about your tone and what program u used to record this. Which plugin/amps etc. should I try out with a Schechter 7 string, and what program did u use to record this cover? I mean I use Tonehub now, it's not bad at all, and has a lot of diversity.
@@CaseyWalle Alright, i'll check out both and see how they work with my setup. Thanks a bunch
Amazing dude, can you tell the string gauge in this? sounds really tight
Probs 60-12 dude.

Hey man do you have the tabs for this song?
Great fuckin cover man! Very clean! Where did you learn the song?
I learnt it by ear, my man!
end of practicing 7 string, link was deleted
Does anyone have the tabs for this song?
hey, are the tab still available ?
where did you find the tabs for this song?
Learnt by ear
miss your vids. how are your hands doing
Haha cheers dude, yeah the hands are fine these days. just not interested in doing covers anymore, i'm writing music that I wanna put out on here soon, it's just a slow process writing alone.
Is that a 7 string tuning Without the second to last string?
yeah it is.
Damn I wish there were more tabs for there songs
String gauge ?
Ino this is a cover and and awesome one at that, but does any1 know why tf they don’t play this live????
It's probably harder to play? Just my guess.
How did he managed to build a guitar from scratch?
I didn't? what do you mean?
The brand is Skervesen. Go check them out.
Wait, so you are not the Primitive Technology guy?
Oh right, so you're saying I look similar or something? I had actually never heard of him before!
