I am truck driver and my question is about uplink noise cancellation in extremely noisy environments. Can please advise if you have tested them around big engines running. Thanks
Glad Soundcore has come out with a new set of earbuds. Absolutely loving my Life Q30s. The Only issue I have with Soundcore is that the custom EQ settings of the app aren't accessible if you are blind and use the voice accessibility features built into iPhone. Thanks for another great review.
Just re-watched this video for the 4th time, really focused in on your mic sound test... these LA 2 pros straight coming for airpod pro's neck, they're that good! Thanks again EJ!
If your here to find out the noise level and bass, read this comment. Good review by the way. I bought mine today for 99$ at Walmart w/ a 10$ warranty. These are one of the best ear buds I’ve ever bought. The noise level is very loud, very clear w/ great bass. I’ve owned AirPods 1 n 2, as well as beats, and Bose quite sound head phones. Like I said volume and sound are very loud, and I’ve lost my hearing due to fire arms bangs from the military, as well as a lot of music festivals. The noise cancellation plus the volume are amazing especially for the price. Also I have downloaded the app and turned up the volume in equalizer settings all the way up and it is very loud. The packaging is really good. I will give these a 10/10!!!!!!
First off, I want to thank you for your work. Before I bought my Liberty 2 Pro earbuds I watched every video on the product. However, your video was the one that actually helped make the final decision. Now, here again I looked for the new Liberty Air 2 Pros, not only was I looking for your video on them specifically but, it was the first one on the list anyway. In this video, you have given all the details that I was looking for, your opinions and, then some. So, again I say thank you. I really appreciate you.
So year later, if you still own them by any chance, how are they? I have by Huawei Freebuds 4i, they still work and everything but i just want to buy other pair of earbuds since i have those for a year and if something happens to them, so i have a spare of other ones. Do you think they are comfortable? I do have bigger ears, but that's it.
Dude thanks so much cause of you I went and bought some. I drive semi Hauling equipment moving around a lot they never fall out great sound quality and great for phone calls. I am truly satisfied.
Great Review as always! You cover several points which I have not seen with other tech reviewers. And you take the time to answer questions in the comments, I already subscribed a few months ago, and glad I did. I can't remember if I had commented before on this specific review, but what the heck, commenting again. BTW Best Buy had the blue Liberty Air 2 Pro's on sale for $50 at the end of July 2022, so picked up a 2nd pair for my better half. I bought a pair for myself at the end of 2021, and I still use the regularly. The app is really great, definitely makes the experience much better. I know there's better out there, but don't feel like spending a lot of money on earbuds since these Liberty Air 2 Pro's do the job very well.
Cumulatively I have spent more than cost of a single Airpod pro on several of these buds😃. Not complaining, better to support several smaller companies than the fruit company.
I'm glad you made the comparison to the Liberty 2 Pros, I have those and they are hard to beat. They are soo good! I'm still interested in these Liberty air pros, brand new sound! Soundcore is killing the game!
Jeff, your review of the L2P last year guided me to purchase them. Love them. I’ve been waiting for these, they arrive today. This review has me really anticipating them. Your reviews are the shizz, bro! Thanks for what you do. Oh, I prefer buds over cans.
Great Review. Your review of the Liberty Air 2 helped me decide that those were the ones for me and have been super happy with them. As for your feedback on headphones preferences my vote goes to earbuds now. Over the headphones when I was younger was the way to go but now that I’m older the industry has made major improvements to the design of earbuds making them more comfortable for longer periods of time. The over the head headphones are great but I’ve noticed a much more frequent feel of ear fatigue from wearing those vs today’s earbuds!
After your live show I wrote Soundcore’s customer service and asked for firmware update 3.62 (single tap, improved ambient). Wow, what a difference! They sent the update quickly. Their customer service is comparable to Apple!
I used to strictly prefer over or on ears to the in ears, but recently had issues of having intense headaches from these and IEMs solved this problem perfectly. (Not planning to invest in an expensive but comfortable on/over ear.) So in ears for the win!
Hey Boss! My preference for earbuds and/or over ear headphones is for both, depending on my usage. I use the buds when I'm out and about, or when I'm active at home. I prefer the over the ear cans when I'm being a couch potato. Love your reviews!
Both. My go to are a pair of Sony wh-1000xm4 and a pair of Samsung Buds live. I love them both. The Buds are for outdoors, walking, whatever. I love ANC but I don't like it when I'm walking around. The buds have both that open sound but there's just enough ANC to make them a little quieter. That's what the Sony's are for. Nothing and I mean nothing beats a good set of cans and as far as the wh-1000xm4's go they are one of the best I've ever had. Keep up the great videos!
For the headphones-earbuds question, ill have to go with headphones. Especially with anc, its overall a better experience for me, unless I'm in bed, then ill usually use some esrbuds. It usually depends on circumstance, but recently I actually lost my liberty 2 pros, but I still have my xm4's, which is nice!
I've loved my Liberty Air 2's since I bought them last year. I wear them at work as a cabinet maker. They aren't rated for hearing protection but they do a bit. The only way I needed them to be imprvwd was with this ANC upgrade! Been waiting for this for a while! Can't wait to get my hands on a pair! The reason I prefer ear buds is because it's bloody hot in Australia haha. First time viewer loved the review man!
Great Review as always! I got these to replace the Liberty 2 Pro and I couldn't be happier. I prefer the sound of these over the Liberty 2 Pro surprisingly and I find these are much more comfortable. I love the sound signature with ANC on and the transparency mode is great! The only issue I have is that the double touch control is a bit finicky. PS I prefer in-ear buds as opposed to over-ear.
Thanks for the full review. I watched this using my liberty air 2 pro. I definitely love in ears more than the over ears earphones. Over ears give me a headache and sense of over warmth and pressure on my ears and not practical for me to use outdoors. It has been 2 days since I got my liberty air 2 pro so I can't give full review but initially I like the battery life and how it connects fast to my galaxy note 9 once I get them out of the box.
Amazing Review as usual. TWS market is now full of good value, high quality products and spoilt for choice. This one got to be in the shopping list. I prefer in ear for shorter duration, over ear for long haul flights and longer duration.

I just ordered mine in white, I got the $50 discount, came to $79.99 + tax. I prefer the earbuds over headphones because they are lighter & more comfortable. On your call sound, you sounded great. I can’t wait to get mine. I have the air 2 & 2 pro, really enjoy both. You did a great review on these, thank you. 👍🏻👍🏻
@@DJJaeros If you own Soundcore Liberty 2 pro or Liberty air 2, you can get $50 off. They need the serial number from the earbuds. It’s a Soundcore loyalty promotion.
Another solid review. Liking the design of both with a slight edge still going to the Liberty 2 Pro. Both are winners and may grab one of them soon. Thx!!
I purchased the Liberty Air 2 Pro’s based on this video review and put a pair of SpinFit CP360’s (large) on them and WOW!!!! AMAZING sound clarity!!! I’ve been listening to Linkin Park since 2000 and on their album Hybrid Theory, they have a track called “Cure for the Itch”. At the beginning of the track and immediately right after “Folks, we have a very special guest for you tonight...”, one of them meows like a cat. I have NEVER heard that before until I played it through my Liberty Air 2 Pro’s!!! These babies have blown me away!!!
Wow, great review, thank you! I just bought the Liberty Air 2 Pro's last week, right after Thanksgiving. I actually bought them because they have good ratings with phone call quality, but the sound quality of the Air 2 Pro's is actually very good and caught me by surprise as well. I think the call quality on the Air 2 Pro's is pretty good, not the best, but being that I am comparing the call quality of the Air 2 Pro's to a Plantronics Voyager 5220, which pretty much is the benchmark for all call quality comparisons. I actually bought the Jabra Elite Active 75T's last week as well, and am comparing them to the Air 2 Pro's, and in many instances I think I prefer the sound of the Liberty's versus the Jabra's - there just seems to be slightly more detail in the sound with the Liberty's. I guess I was surprised by that, being that it seems that Jabra is one of the big go-to brands for excellent audio/music listening experience. As far as your question about over the ear headphones or earbuds - I haven't really used headphones for listening to music since the 80's and early 90's when I had a Sony Walkman with a cassette player/radio, and then had a Sony Discman with a CD Player. I have always preferred wired speakers, and over the last decade or so, a few good bluetooth speakers, I use both types regularly. I have just jumped back into the earbud/headphone debate with these recent purchases, I am trying to go with earbuds, being that they are more compact, and easier to use with glasses. At this point not sure if I am going to keep the Air 2 Pro's or the Jabra's, bought both on great Black Friday Sales. Thanks again for your thorough and informative review! I have subscribed.
Hopefully they allow foam tips to be used in the charger, the silicone tips they come with could never give me a good fit and i would always have to push/twist it around to find a good spot before it would have to redo it all over again, but with silicone it would fit perfectly.
the liberty air 2 pro Are they comfortable when laying on? Like when the side of your head is on your pillow...does it annoy you? Do they stick out to the point you couldn't lay on them?
Wow that's amazing, great review again man! I bought my wife the air 2 because of the review you made and they are so good! Thought about getting them myself...but now..well I'll have to do more thinking, but they have to change the controls and make single tap available because the air 2 does have it and it's great also in the EQ you have the creators EQ option which is really great too...and for me mostly I like over the ear headphones, saw this video with my Q10's (thanks for that)
Yo! I will go with in ear category because of the size, weight, look, versatility and comfort! That's why i order liberty air 2pro at 99,99 it's the best value imo. Soundcore seems like is killin it in sound quality. Their products looks much more stylish and premium than it's competitors. Also the app is smooth and stable. These are some of the the reasons i prefer Soundcore over the other brands. Congrats jefe for one more time ... Solid review 👍 stay safe and keep the good job! Thank you
Damnn these look like such a solid pair!!! I've been loving my soundcore liberty 2 pros and I'm so happy they another great pair for people to choose from!!! Great video as always Jeff! I knew I had to watch yours first before everyone else during my break!!! 😁
Hello, I just got these Liberty Air 2 Pro buds last week. I agree with your review on the sound quality(they sounded great on my laptop w/THX sound while watching Star Wars). However, I found the earphones a little fiddly trying to keep them in my ears(tried several different eartips). Also agree with you on the tap menu(not enough features). Also agree with you on the volume not as high as the old Liberty Air 2 (which I have purchased based on your review last year). I found they sounded best with the default Soundcore EQ setting. I experienced a lower battery life - about 5 1/2 hours (w/ANC off) listening to music and watching a couple movies at below 50% volume. These have slightly better bluetooth range than the older model (especially with the new Avantree USB DG80 Bluetooth 5.0 adapter). I think the best new feature these have over the old Liberty Air 2 is the ANC. I still find myself going back to the old Liberty Air 2 as they have better volume and touch controls.
Thanks for the review!! Noticed a few downgrades from last gen LA2: - IPx5 to IPx4 - 28 hours to 26hours - QCC 3020 to non QCC chipset (missing AptX support) - Call quality is just average (not much difference from the previous LA2)
Who other than Flossy Carter 😉 Most entertaining person to watch tech videos.. there isn't many people that can make me sit through a 40 minute review but with Flossy it feels like 10 minutes.. And El Jefe is one of the best on audio and Gamesky
Re Question Over-ear or IEM - Depends on usage and needs. I am an audiophile. So for focused listening, I use wired over-ear audiophile headphones. For simple listening for extended periods, I use Wireless over-ear such as the Sony WH-1000XM4s. For travel or very casual listening, I use in-ear - either wired for better fidelity or true wireless for greater independence and movement.
Base tune vs base tune the 1More ANC sound better. Also helps that the 1more are a dual driver design (1DD/1BA). The beauty with these is the EQ app. It gives you much more versatility.
Preferences: For working on my computer/remove external noise and ANC for travel: cans. For doing errands, riding my bike at the beach, listening stealthily, In-ear.
Another fine review! They look very sleek! Mic quality was most surprising I think. Sounds very good. Sound quality was expected to be very good. Tried purchasing them in Amazon DE. Sadly they don't deliver to NL. Tried Amazon UK but the discount code doesn't work. Always a pain to get earbuds for a decent price in NL.
I just got these and returning just as fast! Out of all the rubber sizes not one mad these buds fit and the sound was clipping with these? I bought the P3 and stock cushins fit perfectly and made a seal instantly. I was so bumbed out on the fit of the air 2 pro.
I picked these up and yes they're very nice, perhaps better than the many other various Soundcore earbuds I have (I have about 20 total various sets, from all the usuals). BUT - I have somehow landed upon maybe the single best-sounding TWS earbuds of ANY of the ones I have, and it's a no-name Chinese thing called 'Wemiss'. I think $30. Sound is AMAZING. I mean unbelievable. Better than any of my Soundcore units and I have them all. Better than my 75T 85T and 65T. Better than any of my Soundpeats, Taotronics, ANY of the ones I have. And the phone call quality blows all these others away also. No these don't have ANC, no they don't have wireless charging, they have no app to change things, none of that. But I keep testing them against all the ones I have, and these random overseas thing from WEMISS (?? yes that's the name) beat out my other units for pure audio quality. I test them with Steely Dan's famous album 'AJA', which is generally recognized as one of the best-engineered albums of all time, and the quality of these funky WEMISS things beats all the others. Yes that's right - these no name, never heard of them before units are FAR superior to any of the others out there. Yes beating all Soundcore units, yes beating all Jabra units yes yes YES. Grab a set and test them. You'll be astounded, as I was. And I'm very critical of audio, used to be in a rock band long ago, blah blah - check these things out. It's worth it.
I like earbuds nothing to really worry about just throwing them in your backpack and not something super big to carry around also you can just use one at a time while there is ambient mode and transparent so you have an option. Earbuds preferred
I love using headphones at home but when I'm in public or school they can hear the music and the profile is very noticeable so during those times I like using earbuds
Great review, I was considering buying some TWS earbuds but don't know which one is better for me and after seeing your review i can say I'm halfway of getting these.
No lie... my absolute favorite headphones were my parent's JVC monitor headset (5944) from 1978. Full over the ear, super squishy foam, quad channels with a cord that was as thick as a mic cord. They were for studio work and holy monkeys they were AMAZING sound quality. I used them through the 80s, 90s and into the 2000s until, alas, they finally died. I rewired them... I don't know how many times. I replaced parts... I loved that set. I can still remember sitting in the recliner head back listening to Dark Side of the Moon after reading how Alan Parsons engineered the sound for that album. Still looking for another pair just like them. They are rare, but out there.
Circular Noise Canceling function could possibly be tuning out a particular frequency like a notch filter. Or could also possibly be directional - tuning out the sound from a particular direction. Just my guess.
After my Soundcore Liberty Neo broke after one Year, I decided to give Soundcore another chance, because I really loved the sound quality in this 40€ price range. And ANC in 100€ in ears. Count me in. I just hope they will last longer than one year.
They have 18 month warranty. Just email them and you get a brand new replacement without turning in your old ones. I think the email is support@soundcore.com. Also, their customer service team is absolutely fantastic!
Update: They arrived pretty soon after ordered. Pairing, build quality and sound where amazing. But I couldn't wear them for more than 10 minutes without my ears (upper part, where the harder part of the earpod pushes onto my bones in my ears) hurting really bad to the point where I had to take them out. So now my mother finally got some good earphones as birthday present. She uses the small eartips, which I never tried (as i am generally using at least the mediums), so they are as good as new ones for her. And she really likes them.
I like both over ear headphones an the wireless earbuds they both have great advantages. I got my face mask last week I ordered off your gift site. Works great 👍 Hope your brothers doing ok man. Thanks for the great reviews
I have the original scl air 2s THEY ARE AWESOME! was waiting for soundcore to step up.. and make a pro version.. still in love with my buds live, but.. these ought to be awesome. I like the open feel of my buds live, best sound. I don't like being cut off from the world with full- size headphones.

$80??? Hell yeah man!
How??
@@DJJaeros
If you own Soundcore Liberty 2 pro or Liberty air 2, you can get $50 off. They need the serial number from the earbuds. It’s a Soundcore loyalty promotion.
My only complaint is no ear wing tips, since I sweat a lot and the liberty air I had were returned because of that. Still enjoying my liberty pro 2.
Ear wing tips would help for sure. This is one of the very few things Skullcandy got right.
Another solid review. Liking the design of both with a slight edge still going to the Liberty 2 Pro. Both are winners and may grab one of them soon. Thx!!
Well said bro!
I really love the look of the case you have for yours. So awesome that you have a custom set from them😍 congratulations on that and great video💜
Thank you so much!!
Glad you’re enjoying them as much as I do!
I am and I have you to thank for it. 😉 Also, my 1More ANC’s will arrive Wednesday and I’m looking forward to how well they perform.
Make sure you try the SpinFits on those as well.
Already have another set of CP360’s patiently standing by. 😁
I need those in bulk. Still waiting to hear back from SpinFit on that request. I asked for 50 pairs!😁
Great video, looks like a good upgrade! And I see the 50.000 subscriber milestone is coming closer as well😄
So close!
Thanks for sharing your experience here!
Bro these or the Jabra Elite 75t? I will be using them with iOS. Please tell me ✌️
Thanks Jefe, was able to get them using your promo code on release day , should be here tomorrow 👍🏼
Awesome!
Excellent review Jefe 🤙🏼always an appreciated addition with the comparisons.
Glad I could help bro!
New viewer here! Excellent review that covered all the points. I just subscribed. Thanks for you clarity in providing this information.
Glad it was helpful!
Hopefully they allow foam tips to be used in the charger, the silicone tips they come with could never give me a good fit and i would always have to push/twist it around to find a good spot before it would have to redo it all over again, but with silicone it would fit perfectly.
I need to try a few pairs to see if any fit.
Best review so far…clear and accurate!
Glad it was helpful!
I want some so bad! Mine are coming on the 15th, so sad I missed the embargo😅Haha, ah well! Can't wait to test them anyway Jeff!
You're gonna love them! Can't wait to see your video.
@@ELJefeReviews Aye! Thanks Jeff, I'm not really an audiophile, but I'll do my best!
the liberty air 2 pro Are they comfortable when laying on? Like when the side of your head is on your pillow...does it annoy you? Do they stick out to the point you couldn't lay on them?
Wow that's amazing, great review again man!
I bought my wife the air 2 because of the review you made and they are so good! Thought about getting them myself...but now..well I'll have to do more thinking, but they have to change the controls and make single tap available because the air 2 does have it and it's great also in the EQ you have the creators EQ option which is really great too...and for me mostly I like over the ear headphones, saw this video with my Q10's (thanks for that)
Awesome! Glad I was able to help.
Earbuds ever since I had to start wearing glasses.
That makes sense.
Thank you
With my experience with true wireless earbuds I must say that I prefer over the ear headphones
Fair enough.
I prefer them as well...they’re just not very pocketable.
I prefer over the ear, but during summer, or rainy weather, I'm happy to have buds.
I was looking at these since they are on sale at best buy and I'm really convinced to go for them since I love my liberty air 2
Under $100 I hope.
Damnn these look like such a solid pair!!! I've been loving my soundcore liberty 2 pros and I'm so happy they another great pair for people to choose from!!! Great video as always Jeff! I knew I had to watch yours first before everyone else during my break!!! 😁
Glad you like them!
Thanks for sharing your experience with us!
can I use it separately? can I use one headset as a single while the other is in the box? thanks
Yes
@@ELJefeReviews 🙏 thanks
Thanks for the review!!
Noticed a few downgrades from last gen LA2:
- IPx5 to IPx4
- 28 hours to 26hours
- QCC 3020 to non QCC chipset (missing AptX support)
- Call quality is just average (not much difference from the previous LA2)
Yet somehow they sound better, are more comfortable, and give you adjustable ANC + Ambient modes. For me the trade off was worth it.
🙏 “Birdman hands rubbing”!
Hey what's up everybody it's your boiiii
Who other than Flossy Carter 😉 Most entertaining person to watch tech videos.. there isn't many people that can make me sit through a 40 minute review but with Flossy it feels like 10 minutes.. And El Jefe is one of the best on audio and Gamesky
Exactly! Floss is the OG!

I appreciate the thorough response! Any IEMs of choice in your collection?
i’m still using my life q10s 😂👍
NICE! I love those headphones.
I just bought them, the blackout edition... They rock!
Are those ear bud style?
@@timdeltoro nope, the LifeQ10 are over-ears.
@@timdeltoro no, they are headphones
Thanks for the info El firme! man you're so suave when reviewing every product. OG professional Keep it up G 😎
Thanks homie!😎
Really Great review. I'm wondering how these compare to the 1more ANC, soundwise?
Base tune vs base tune the 1More ANC sound better. Also helps that the 1more are a dual driver design (1DD/1BA). The beauty with these is the EQ app. It gives you much more versatility.
Which one is louder? The 1 more anc's left me wanting a couple more clicks of volume :/
@@poloplaya013 Watch the video the Soundcore liberty air 2 pro gets really loud
@@ELJefeReviews Thanks. That just makes it harder to decicide. The 1Mores are currently $132.99 on Amazon in Canada.
FANTASTIC REVIEW AS ALWAYS. thank you EL JEFE. (ur the man.) Keep up the great reviews!
Much appreciated!
Anytime my friend..
Will there be a Liberty 2 Pro update this year?
I have not heard anything about that yet.
👀 I enjoyed your review. I am a big fan of Soundcore. I have the Liberty 2 Pro and like them very much. I prefer earbuds. Blessings on your day.
My man! The L2P are so good!
I would like to see a review of them and galaxy buds pro
An interesting thought!
Preferences:
For working on my computer/remove external noise and ANC for travel: cans.
For doing errands, riding my bike at the beach, listening stealthily, In-ear.
The mic quality is also the best i have heard so far from bluetooth earbuds.
Excellent so far!
I like in ears and I use the soundcore liberty air 2 and was very excited and happy to see these 😍, may have to ask for these for Christmas 🤣.
You should!
Them last seconds was long as hell. Lmao
Bruh for real!
Just ordered these. Can't wait to try
Awesome!
Amazing review as usual guey..just got the earfun free pro... I think I might go for the this next.
The Earfun Free Pro are so good!
Great video as always! Love that you have your own custom edition pair! Keep up the great work!
Much appreciated fam!
Sorry to hear that bro! Hopefully they become available to you soon.
I just got these and returning just as fast! Out of all the rubber sizes not one mad these buds fit and the sound was clipping with these? I bought the P3 and stock cushins fit perfectly and made a seal instantly. I was so bumbed out on the fit of the air 2 pro.
This thing is $50now , in my country, i think this is the best budget deal .... I'm gonna buy this one for sure...
Thanks for sharing!
Earbuds when on the go, while headphone while seated and having a nice cup of ice coffee
Excellent choices!
These? -> amzn.to/3ottR3c
@@ELJefeReviews The way he described them makes me kinda interested...
Excellent review as always Jeff! I’ll be ordering these soon!
Nice! I know you need these in your life!
Nice video chief.
I prefer over ear headphones for long listening session, and I use my Galaxy buds live for on the go.
Good choice!
Really good review, fully convinced me to go for these. Thanks for the discount code!
Glad I could help!
nice I'm glad I got to watch your review. I'm going to purchase it right now
Glad I could help! Make sure you use that discount code I left in the video description.
I like earbuds nothing to really worry about just throwing them in your backpack and not something super big to carry around also you can just use one at a time while there is ambient mode and transparent so you have an option. Earbuds preferred
Fair enough! Thanks for sharing.
Sound quality needs to be the first topic of every earbud and headphone review.
Noted.
I really dig the El Jefe logo you got on yours 😎 As well as the black with blue drips on them 😎
Thanks bro! They look awesome!
Good stuff man Soundcore is really doing it’s thing
No doubt bro!
I love using headphones at home but when I'm in public or school they can hear the music and the profile is very noticeable so during those times I like using earbuds
Fair enough!
Great review! Now I gotta decide between these or the buds pro!
Glad you like them!
Right!😂
Great Video! Looking forward to using these - Just ordered them using your code! 😎 Excited for them to arrive.
Awesome! Glad you got that discount. I'm not sure how long it will last.
This looks pretty good!! Nice vid el jefe!!
Thanks!
Great review, I was considering buying some TWS earbuds but don't know which one is better for me and after seeing your review i can say I'm halfway of getting these.
Glad I could help!
No lie... my absolute favorite headphones were my parent's JVC monitor headset (5944) from 1978.
I hope so too. Mine have all help up well but I rotate through multiple sets so mine see less wear and tear than most.
Totally agree! Thank you for the additional support. We appreciate it.
Glad you like them!
Cannot stand buds live rubbish ANC and rubbish for answering phone calls answering phone calls ends up hurting your ears
Love the detail honest review as usual
Glad you liked it!
How is the ANC and sound compare to the AirPods Pro?
Great review bro! Just dropping by to say hi! 😁👋
