After take the front rubber lense cover there is a screw cap you can remove is this suppose to be removed at night to let more light in or during the day?
I purchased one of these recently but I think it may be defective. When I switch to photo mode from video mode, the screen is much darker particularly in low light situations. I wouldn't think the screen would change at all between the 2 modes. Do I have a defective item, or is there a setting that I need to tweak. I think it worked for a minute, but after switching back and forth between video and photo mode, the screen went dark again. I'd appreciated some insight. Thanks..
dependant on what available rail/mounting system you have i would guess so ,yes However if this is relating to UK use it is illegal to hunt with a crossbow day or night to confirm

Is there a rangefinder setting on this scope? Meaning it will show the yards something is before you shoot?
