  • Artist, researcher and historian Tiffany Chung has made a name for herself with her stunning cartographic works. Her experience as a Vietnamese refugee has influenced the subjects of her art. Her work examines conflict, migration and urban transformation in relation to history and cultural memory. She is a contemporary artist whose work crosses many mediums including video and performance art, embroidery and beadwork on canvases, and sculptures and archaeological discoveries.

    I was introduced to mapping during my Interior Design course and I used videos as a way of mapping as I wasn't able to produce good maps like how she is doing. But now I am inspired to try again!

    Who did you interview? Their names and titles aren't listed anywhere I can find. How are viewers able to know they are credible and relevant sources without that information :(

    Wow! Beautiful usage of so many media to portray the past and current events. Her messages are so powerful with very well researched data. Awe-inspiring artworks that teaches history and hopefully will influence movers and shakers to make the necessary changes.
