obviously people will love Kelley more for 2nd chances, but I think she had a WAY more difficult position here and she did a pretty good job, evading being voted out almost every tribal! the one bad mistake, I think, was actually not being blindsided by Wardog (a bad move by him imo) but that merge vote where she weirdly targeted Rick. such a bummer that her and Lauren's beautifully hidden idols went completely to waste.
@@kyosotacomics She said in her "Tell-all" that she was so happy it was Rick coming back and wanted to work with him and all Lesu but there was too much mistrust on Rick's end and she'd heard/felt he was going against them. And we have to remember at that point she was very much in danger herself and didn't have the luxury of calling the shots of what she actually wanted. I also thought at final 10, the 5 Lesu were still there, half the players! Just get your act together and you can all run it to the end. But apparently Wardog always wanted David out and she had to side with her Lauren/Wardog alliance.
Kelley has had 3 birthdays televised on Survivor... once on each season... Each birthday kind of told a story as to how she was doing in the game.... S29: She was the golden girl, threat to win and scored the winning point in the challenge S31: Building relationships with the powerless people in the game (to make up the Witches Coven) S38: Losing time after time and she's over it
Guys...the newbies came in READY to boot the four returners, especially Kama. this woman was the last one left, huge target from the beginning, got screwed because of the theme imo, she should have came back on an all returnee season. These players were never gonna let any of them get close to the end.
"legends" is a great concept I think, tho since S40 is "All Winners" - and that will have many legends - I think the season she should be on is something like "legends that never won/one last chance" (Kelley, Cirie, Amanda, Rob C, Kathy, etc.)
Kelly Wentworth always goes on the bottom because she is not strong or sly enough to pull people in. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE WENTWORTH'S GAME! Unfortunately, these people don't. Anglim yes social game he's zero but strength he does have that thereby making it easier for him to be pulled into the majority. He's also no collar free spirited that is also a factor. I always notice at survivor: you need to have the extreme strength or slyness first and apply it not just when you have an idol but on almost every tribal. Ensuring you do not become a target comes second. Hope Kelley Wentworth does find her groove and win a survivor season. In my opinion, she definitely deserves to win more than the few other winners I watched.
@@BobSmith-ic8bu Gavin lasted 39 days, and was often on the right side of the vote, which is more than you can say for Chris even during his "amazing" three days, he needed three idols, one of which he got for free. He would be considered worse than Ben even if he survived the whole journey. Technically, none of them deserved to be in the FTC. The winner would be either Lauren or Victoria if only the producers stopped with their unholy obsession of returning players straight to the finale. Now, with Redemption Island, it's less terrible because at least you have to win challenges, but Chris just hanged out with the future jurors, some of which didn't even SEE Gavin or Julie outside of challenges and have no idea about them at all.
6:58, This is why Lauren should've NEVER trusted Wentworth, because Wentworth went behind Lauren's back and told Chris Underwood and the others on the edge about Lauren's Hidden Immunity Idol, and when he got back in the game, Chris tricked Lauren into misplaying her Idol and Lauren was then voted out at the Final Five. If Wentworth did not say that, then Lauren would've made it to the final four, win the firemaking challenge make it to the final three and win!. Lauren was someone who was ten times better than Underwood this season!
nah, she explained in a podcast It was not intentional at all. it was a slip while she was still confused after being voted out. never she went after her alliance in all three seasons she was in.
NOBODY knew about the Edge of Extinction when Lauren told Wentworth about the idol. It wasn't until the merge when they found out that the Edge of Extinction was a re-entry gimmick.
Wardog is just dumb. Really dumb. I am not gonna blame Wenworth not playing an idol, but im blaming Wardog for voting her out for no reason or trying to make blindside or whatever it is
I am a huge Survivor fan...and I know this won't be a popular comment on this thread...BUT...I got really sick of watching this person pout after every loss and act with poor sportsmanship toward her tribe. It wasn't as if she would have been winning but the others were holding her back. They just weren't that great as a group as they thought of themselves.
diane iverglynne I mean when you’re starving and you lose a reward challenge that could help you gain food or by losing immunity with a huge target, it would make sense why someone would pout about losing...
@@Tristan7821 From s Christian standpoint I don't really judge her so much. From a survivalist and gamer standpoint...nah. We don't watch all the other hungry players acting that way. She seems to be an overachiever in competition rather than gifted (like say Ozzie). One doesn't get to just be the winner.
I agree. I didn't really like Kelley or her game pre merge in EoE for that reason. Although her game post merge was better, I was disappointed in her prior to that for the poor attitude and arrogance.
“I trust Lauren, but not these other people”

Great foreshadowing there 👍🏻

Word. She should have tried to work with Rick when he came back in the merge instead of targeting him.
@@kyosotacomics yeah he even confirmed that he was ready to work with Lesu again. I guess Kelley's Achilles' heel is the merge episode :P

After her performance in second chance it's a wonder she wasn't voted out immediately.

charlie z yes wentworth and andrea etc.
Yes she should
Don’t worry Jeff’s gunna make it happen

same. although she didn't win i thought she did exceptionally well for how big of a target she had and how bad her tribes were at challenges

if she plays again i think she could win it all.
This should’ve been KELLY’s season!!
Think about it if the crazy Tribal when Julia was voted out it could have been a shocker idol play by Wentworth
true! but glad it wasn't - best tribal of the season hands down :)
I love how they did Second Chance rather than San Juan Del Sur
Pretty shitty that the person she outplayed ended up winning 🙄

She should've played that idol and extend her legacy
She didn’t have a reason to play it because it was STUPID to vote her out at that time. In fact, Wardog admitted that voting her off was her downfall
