I'll still rather back more Portugal attackers over double England attack even with rotation. England has yet to show they can score more than 1 goal per game this tournament, and Slovenia ain't mugs.
Neto will likely start with leao suspended as well..
I just find it a bit tougher to get a read on Portuguese rotation. Jota is also a CF so it leaves Neto to me
Overall though I think it’s totally fine to back Portugal if you want!

Wouldn't it make sense to play the limitless strategy in the late stages of the tournament?
Not really, and there are a couple of reasons for that.
1. Other players will have more free transfers to change their team in comparison to now where they only have 2 free transfers. Plus the LL drafts will be quite template due to the quality of the knockout team's players. This means that the players you have in your team, will often times more than not, be in a lot of other manager's teams.
2. Since teams will be stronger, the amount of goals scored will be lower, e.g. France vs England/ France vs Poland. You would expect France to score more goals against Poland than England.
And then finally the budget. From the round of 16 onwards, the budget will be £105m. Some of the drafts now are only £5m over the current £100m budget meaning the effectiveness of the LL chip won't be exercised as much as possible.
Don't forget about your team going back to the one it was before. In the knockout stages is win or to home, so unless you picked players from teams that qualify to the next round, chances are you'll be stuck with a few players from eliminated teams.

I wouldn't if my captain was Mittlestadt. At worst, I'd probably lose 8 points if none of the favorites for today score.

He'll probably get rotated for Navas or another defender. Luis De La Fuente has said he will rotate the squad heavily, and give players with little game time in the first matchdays a chanche. I would probably go for Grimaldo instead. You should maybe wait for the deadline, to hopefully get some more news on the lineup

Probably 50/50, but I would say it's worth the risk, considering he plays as a winger, with possible attacking returns. But I would wait to the deadline, to hopefully get some more news about the Netherlands starting lineup

However, if Frimpong starts as a winger, he might get an attacking return, which would compensate for not keeping a cleansheet. In addition, Frimpong is probably going to be subbed off around the 70th minute, which increases his chance of getting a clean sheet. Might be risky, but I beleive it's probably worth the risk, condiering I'm on limitless for matchday 3.
