Love my eb55. Although I do find it is limited by the slow charging from 12v 10A.
I now have an inverter in the van powering the mains brick charger. A bit wasteful, but it allows the solar to charge at the same time.
Looking to expand my storage and will probably just get a LiFe 12v battery and connect it to the xc60
I understand that without the B80 cable inserted it is impossible to activate the power bank mode so that the indicator blinks?
Yes you need the cable
Wonder if this could be used to expand an Ecoflor River 2 unit.
Always wondered why Ecoflow did not release expansion batteries on the River 2 line.
You could us the car charge port

Could be done in a pinch and drop the amps in setting in the Ecoflow app.
I know USB A to C could be used for 18w and usb c to c Assuming the C ports on this unit are not bidirectional because that protocol is a hot mess in regards which way power travels.
Wil look up the specs of the aviation port to see if the voltage is within range.
So the B80 connected to the generator, with the power button held down to let it know it is connected to a generator that is not an AC60, is a true expansion battery, right? It expands the capacity of the connected generator by 806Wh right?

So are you saying the B80 is not an expansion battery when connected to another generator? What specifically makes you think it is not? Be specific. From the official Bluetti B80 website page... "Expand AC180/EB3A/EB55/EB70S in Power Bank Mode."

Can the EB80 be in battery bank mode, and be charged at the same time with 200watt solar?
Although I haven’t tested that, it should be able to. Best bet is to ask Bluetti to be safe, sorry couldn’t help here
I’m not sure if my question is naive but would this work as a charger for the Allpowers R600 in the same way as the EB3A?
Hi no it won’t to my knowledge. The firmware won’t recognize it.

I’m thinking it might be best for me to take the time to learn more basic diy methods for power storage because versatility is important and hopefully once I understand more also cheaper, thank you so much again! :^)

Not at all, running something like that you would need to spend thousands sorry , you would need a much larger multi battery unit.
Please dont influence people in thinking this is battery expansion. Its not, its another charging method that's all.
