@@DinnerForkTongue 2 weeks after the surgery was when I could walk, bend over. Light stuff with no pain. Obviously I didn't lift anything crazy until a couple of months. The first week is crazy amounts of pain where I didn't leave my bed, I should've never declined pain pills but thought I was stronk. Wasn't as bad as the pain before the emergency surgery. I declined the morphine because it delays surgery for 3 hours since they use fentanyl with the anesthetic. I just wanted it done. Used hyaluronic acid with vitamin E for the three small scars.

Just had appendicitis and had to get surgery done for it. Definitely feel (felt) her pain. Hope everything goes well for her.
sorry for asking - but does the recovery of the body take a whole month, or are there different kinds of appendicitis surgeries needing different levels of healing?
@@forgotultag1543 it's usually takes about 6 weeks for your body to fully heal. But you should be fine to move around and work again after a week or two. I was honestly surprised that she's taking off a whole month for it, but hey, if that's what she feels is best then so be it.

Had my gallbladder removed last summer and it's done the same laparoscopic way, instead of opening up your whole gut like the oldschool method, they just make some small holes where they insert some probes with cameras which will do the cutting (don't know if they'll yoink the entire thing out whole like a stage magician pulling a rabbit out of a hat, or if they'll remove it in pieces, prolly the former).
Was good enough to (carefully) walk a little after the first couple of days, and overall the recovery isn't too harsh compared to other times I've been under the blade. Making tacos my first meal when coming home though was maybe a mistake, but I could subsist on soup and protein shakes for about a week to be nice to my butt, so it wasn't the worst. I had read somewhere that in extreme cases your stomach could stay messed up for months after ditching your gallbladder, and I was angsting about that for a little while, but it didn't take too long to get better.
All in all, much easier to go through than eye surgeries. The first days in the hospital after, I was struggling to pee, because on occasion the anesthesia will "mess with those drivers" afterwards, so that meant catheterization, which isn't wonderful, but you gotta drain one way or another, and it's still a relief. Could piss like normal by the time I was home.

We aren't worried since Tenma has been talking about the appendix for quite a while. It's finally time for appendix arc to end.
@@InfiniteEel well I was a little because I can't always catch her streams. But Phase Connect is very transparent about their stuff and are not vague when it comes to announcements.
I know we like to joke about her being pregnant and all, but if she is having appendix pain, (or even some other issue and using “appendix pain” becuase it’s easier to explain) I’m glad she’s going to get it taken care of in advance. Honestly, if they’re scheduling a surgery 2+ weeks out, that’s a fairly good sign. If they were genuinely worried about somethig, she’s be in there within 24 hours.
Let's hope it goes according to schedule, my friend had his grow inflamed and burst really rapidly, he did fine, but can't have been a pleasant experience, probably far more agony than my gallstones were back in August.
They typically do a lot of this kind of surgery the laparoscopic way now, ergo they cut some small holes and insert some probes to do the cutting and removing, and that's a lot less invasive on the body. Back in the older days they simply had to peel your stomach open like a can of sardines, just plain popping the hood open to get to work on the engine. I can only imagine how much tougher the recovery is for that.
My gallbladder was done with the probe magic, and it's by far the "nicest" surgery I've had.
when the talent tells ya what is actually happening, thats what soothes, not letters or announcements that freak out the community, we should have the talents tell us if they are comfortable. phase just seems to do things right imo when it comes to image n PR and communication between entertainer and consumer

If its a burst Appendix, because of how long shes felt oain, that can actually be fatal. So i hope she gets it taken care of, and that the surgeons are able to make her better.
It's probably on its way, but if the thing outright bursts they're gonna rush her into surgery right away, not calmly schedule it to be done in a couple of weeks.

Fun fact: if you've had a chronic appendicitis, you can actually end up with a phantom appendix, because the brain associates intestinal pressure with appendix pain. Basically, whenever you get intestinal distress, such as a mild inflammation from eating something bad, you still feel the appendix. Human brain is fun!
