Scenes that remind you that oh yeah, this guy fights Batman on a regular basis
Also, living pumpkins for the average person is like "Oh NO!!!"
For Scarecrow however, is like: "Ok, who let Poison Ivy out of her cell?!"
@@clownplayer7265 More like, "Who let Joker near Poison Ivy's experiments?!"... 🤣
So this makes Joker and Scarecrow the only villains to appear outside of Batman and DC. He’s my favorite villain, so happy to see him here
when did Joker appear outside of ... oh wait, Mortal Kombat. Nevermind.
ok i like scarecrow too
MY FAVORITE VILLIANS ARE SCARECROW AND JOKER
And penguin
@@davidstancu905 Where did Penguin show up outside of DC?
They actually made the scarecrow a badass in this lol
i like him he's cool
THE ARKHAM GAMES SCARECROW IS MORE BADASS
The Batman rogues gallery: so great even the second rate villains are utterly badass.
@@Theokal3 scarecrows not second rate tho
He always was. In the comics he’s a master martial artist
I’ve known the Scarecrow to be an intellectual type of villain, not overly physical, but I never knew that he was such an acrobat!! And the man can work a scythe~
multiverse
luis ricardo ramirez orona nah, there was stories in the main canon that had him do this. He has been in combat with Batman a lot.
@@whaleping is he supposed to be the brave and bold scarecrow
@Deuce 2578 brave and bold is the 2nd best Batman series
@@Wario_Man I conquer, Brave and the Bold was awesome
This movie was written, produced, directed and developed by Maxwell Atoms. The same guy who made Billy and Mandy, Evil Con Carne and Bunnicula.
Guess that explains the return of Scarecrow's signature scythe.
That explains why the giant pumpkins remind me of 'Billy & Mandy's Jacked Up Halloween'.
I have to say he did a good job on this movie.
and under fist Master Ellis
I didn't know that! No wonder it's so good
Velma has just met her version of Hannibal Lectern ( thankfully, Dr. Crane is not into cannibalism).
That would be Cornelius stirk, a batman villain that's like cannibal scarecrow lol
Next villain they'll meet will be Two-face
Arkham's Joker is apparentely
He would probably do it for the sake of scaring someone
I like how even despite some setbacks, Scarecrow is still showcased as above average Scooby villains.
He had some contingency when captured, remains menacing and dignified when captured, makes a truce to fight a dangerous enemy with the gang, and even after seemingly eaten by the pumpkins, is revealed not only managed to escape and find out who the real villain is, but whatever happened to him, Crane certainly made sure why the Scarecrow from Gotham is not one to take lightly.
It also helps to showcase how the mystery gang have growth and could keep up even with dangerous maniacs, it even things out.
You know it's kinda fitting for Scarecrow being a fan of horror movies. I can see him at the Arkham rec room watching Elvira, or Svengoolie or some monster movie marathon claiming it's research
...oh right, this guy is one of Batman's biggest foes.
People focus too much on the Fear Toxin and forget that Scarecrow can hold his own against Batman. For a while, anyway.
Also, Scarecrow showing up without any other heroes or villains, mutated pumpkin monsters, Elvira and Daphne swapping outfits, and Velma in a hover chair. This almost matches the Kiss crossover in sheer insanity.
Certain characters tend to focus more on certain gimmicks than others in the Batman universe. That doesn't mean that there are not versions with some variety about them or that characters are limited to those specific gimmicks. In one work of fiction I am watching there is a character that commonly uses a method unique to them to "fight" (not really a fight for those this works on) opponents. It is a method that effortlessly defeats most opponents and so people think that this is all this character can do. As show multiple times, there is more to their skills than just this method, they simply prefer to save their more serious fighting abilities for those who can actually make them put in effort to win. There is another character introduced later on who works in a similar way, he judges how strong someone is in their encounter with him and accordingly decides which way to fight them. If he is mistaken then he simply fights more seriously and makes adjustments as he fights.
Scarecrow is such a badass here
I love that he took the time to buckle his seatbelt when he got in the vehicle 😂.
He always has and always will be my favorite character in fiction. He's just wonderful even if he's sadistic.
what makes me sad though is that in the next scene, where the Mega Pumpkin snatches him, the seat belt is gone, no longer strapped in - hell of an animation error 🫠
it's scobby doo and the scarecrow.
it's scooby doo and the guy with the fear gas
THIS IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER MADE
Dwight Schultz makes a very good Scarecrow
I simp for the Doctor... I feel ashamed
I don't blame you
I've been simping for both the Doctor AND Elvira for years. So...now we've got some very interesting possibilities for my brain to work with.
I do, and I'm not.
I am down bad.
Batman must be so proud of him lol
I feel like this is a good time to tell everyone that Scarecrow was voiced by the guy who voiced Mung Daal in Chowder.
I'm totally going to impress the LADIES with my fear toxin, Chowder!
@@LePhantome273 "I didn't want to get crazy, but I will. I will get...crazy."
Really? Wow! Talk about acting range!
He also plays Dr. Animo in Ben 10… just throwing that out there.
And I’m fairly certain Maxwell Atoms worked on this… in hindsight - Scarecrow DOES look like Jack and the giant pumpkin shoulda been dead giveaways. 😅
i know he's evil but i like him
Nothing wrong with that. He’s fictional and one of my favorite villains.
^_^ And one of the best!
I unironically love him
As one of my favorite Batman villians, I thought it was great to see Scarecrow get a big hero moment! Also, that retrectable scythe is sick!
How's THAT for "one note"? Ha ha, IN YOUR FACE, 'HARLEY QUINN' SHOW!!!
It's always dependent on the writer, but there's various comics that showcase Scarecrow being quite formidable in hand-to-hand combat.
In all honesty, I'd think more Batman villains would learn to raise their skills even just a little bit if the Dark Knight is *always* kicking their asses.
Now I Can See Why Scarecrow is a Batman Villain, because He Fights and Think like Him.
That was Totally Badass !!
ArE yOu A HoMeStUcK fAn? 😆

How far have you gotten?
between that, the numerous crossovers with batman and the numerous appearance of other dc characters in soccby doo and guess who like flash dwoner woman and Mark Hamill, it is pretty official that scooby doo is part of dc canon.
now i want jonah hex to meet the hex girls.
I want something with Harley Quinn and Scooby-Doo. They already have a pretty good established relationship. They’ve had two comics together. One where Harley and Ivy capture Mystery Inc to solve a mystery and another where Harley actually joins the gang for a day. She was never kicked out of the gang so in a way she’s still a member. Harley also met with Scooby and Shaggy again during a food fight in Arkham Asylum in Scooby-Doo and Batman The Brave and The Bold. With all that and Harley being a popular character right now I’m DC and James Gunn loving both characters, it would be a great idea.

Remember kids, always wear your seat belts.
I'm just gonna say it; Scarecrow is the best thing out of this movie.
Agreed.
Why'd they make him cute lmao
um
He's usually cute if you're not a coward
@@TEO.187 Ah. I see you’re a person of culture as well.
Man did you see his second design in BTAS? Thing looked like an evil muppet.
Cute? He is HOT
1:09 1:10 i gotta build his pop up spring loaded switchblade scythe weapon for my cosplay i'm bing the scarecrow from batman and happy halloween scooby doo i'm working on made out of pvc plastic pipes and springs and a push of a button
and his scarecrow fear toxin gas spraying grappling hook gauntlets so i zip line up or swing and shoot darts and sprays the fear gas and projectiles
Meanwhile, I’d like to know whether we can ever expect another Scooby Doo show with the nuance, depth and brilliant plot/character progression as Mystery Incorporated.
Please. I’ve been patiently waiting for 7 years.
As have I. :(
🛐🛐🛐
As great as Mystery Inc is I don't really think the franchise needs more than one of it's kind.
Imagine some kid watching this who had very little knowledge on Batman thinking The Scarecrow was just a reused Scooby-Doo villain.
Man this movie has more of Scarecrow in it than every Batman show combined 💀
1:33 I was literally waiting for them to hold hands

1:48 That sounded like Spider-Man’s web shooters from The Spectacular Spider-Man.
Yes
of course
At this point, are they just going to come out and say that Scooby Doo is part of the DC universe?
They better! I mean, we all know it is, but I would still be disappointed.
They should since there are Scooby Doo comics published by DC comics.
And the comics are not the typical Scooby Doo we all know.
!!!THAT MEANS THE MONSTERS CAN EASILY BE REAL, AND WE ALL KNOW VELMA BY NOW, SHE'LL NEVER ACCEPT THE POSSIBLITY OF MONSTERS, MAGIC, OR ALIENS BEING REAL.
@@seich-of-lacan-getter514 Velma: *Meets Superman* Aliens don't exist.
And quite honestly, picking Scarecrow as an introductory villain for the Mystery Gang to face is just perfect writing. The scenes where Velma interact with Scarecrow alone is worth it. And the cherry on top being that Crane views her on a level on par with Batman
1:43 Yoink! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Scare crow gone anti-hero.
I said not to let Scarecrow out! Now he’ll go back to Arkham Asylum
I don’t know if I hate… or LOVE that Jonathan Crane, the SCARECROW, is not only a good guy in this movie, but a total badass.
Scooby doo meet Abbott and Costello is a crossover I'd love to see. They met the three stooges and laurel and hardy
Scarecrow may be a little demented, but he doesn't go back on his word.
I wonder if they'll do a movie where they'll meet the Jetsons
The fact it’s not a fear induced state doing it and an actual costume is funnier. Because he’s just that much of a drama white
so scooby doo and batman are legitimately in the same universe?
Have been for a long time! Joker and Penguin were featured as villains in the original 70s Scooby series.
And scarecrow still puts in a seatbelt
One of my favorite Batman villains plus It’s H.M. Murdock from the A-Team I’m sold!!
Hell yeah.
Zardy maze be like
Cool Video.
Why would you trust the scarecrow are you mad Velma ?
They had no other options, apparently.
He got the job done, didn’t he?
Desperate times call for desperate measures, even if it is comparable to the story of the scorpion and the frog.
I just want to know why they chose to make a batman B league rogue turn out to be such a kick ass antihero all of a sudden. And why i love it so much.
I guess enough sparring with the Bats rubs off on the gloves.
He’s not B and has always been a badass
Depending on your definition, yeah he counts as B-list. Definitely not as present as characters like Catwoman, R'as Al Ghul, or the Joker in terms of foes.
Scarecrow is definitely up there with Joker after seeing what he does in Arkham Knight to be honest. Only reason he's B-list is because DC just haven't used him properly.
Scarecrow is totally not B league, I'm sure that You are not a fan of Batman.
it's kinda weird to see scarecrow help other people, he is more like joker and riddler, he is selfish sadistic psychopath.
He saved a kid from an explosion once
true, he is not that heartless, and he isn't actually mad like the joker, he knows what and why he's doing things. it's not chaos for him, it's just science. he just doesn't care most of the time if it affects others
He didn’t help them out of the kindness of his heart, he was pissed at the main antagonist for getting him arrested
@@jonathancampbell7798 Yeah.
But in some comics, he kidnapped and tortured children. Though one of the kids- a little girl- bonded with him.
And in one of the Hush comics, he kidnapped an orphan named Colin and injected fear toxin and Bane’s toxin into the kid. He was so sadistic and insane.
This was purely for self preservation under these circumstances
This playlist is missing the reveal at the end, Scarecrow makes a brief appearance there
You know, i have a feeling there's gonna be like a mystrey skulls animated. And Scooby Doo cross over at somepoint. (If you don't know what mystrey skulls animated is. Than go look it up)
Can someone remind me why Scarecrow is a villain again?
Also, I know that at the ending we see the shadow of a scarecrow, but what is going on or do I need to see the movie first?
Because he comets robberies and torture
Scarecrow uses fear gas that will make his victims see their worse fears imaginable. The emotional repressed trauma, their darkest phobias, anything that will make them scream. In some iterations he often has fun doing it. But if you want a professional explanation I'd recommend looking up a video about his origin stories.

When will this movie be free

@@sergioacosta7759 It's amazing and nostalgic, The Scooby-Doo Show from 1976 was the very first cartoon I have ever watched growing up in the 90s
@@adamcunningham9947 Yes, I remember does. My favorite ones are the first where are you episodes, and the movies from the late 90's like Zombie Island.
I’ve got several points in regards to this:
A. Technically speaking this isn’t a superhero movie. This is Scarecrow’s first appearance outside of Batman, which makes him the second villain (joker being the first) to appear outside of DC. Which, I love, Scarecrow is my favorite villain, and it’s awesome to see other villains other than joker take the spotlight
B. What’s wrong with Scooby Doo being in the DC universe? I mean, ever heard of Detective Chimp? DC’s done stranger, and I think Scooby Doo fits rather snugly with the superhero clique, at least with the detective and unmasking villains angle
C. Scooby Doo is crossing over with everything nowadays. WWE, Batman, Whoopi Goldberg for gods sake, it’s just the angle Warner Brothers is taking the property
