The complaints about a lack of power are ridiculously exaggerated. While the eclipse cross is not a racing vehicle, the turbo engine does deliver decent acceleration, especially compared to rivals that have a 2.0L non-turbo engine. The rivals that have a 2.0L non-turbo engine don't get the same complaints about a lack of power, and the Eclipse Cross is quicker.
What a load of BS. It is not a sports car, but the acceleration is more than adequate. The critics/haters cannot get past the use of the Eclipse name, a small sports coupe that was discontinued TWELVE years ago.
