Appreciated your effort in making this explanation, I am Avid user for a long time, and I really feel that this lack of a “bridge” between Media Composer and After Effects is one of the main low points for Media Composer for short formats. There are way to much actions that we need to do in Media Composer in export and import material in and out from After Effects, a lot of time is wasted, time not used to edit to great sequences. Not sure if one day it would be as easy as it is now with Premiere and After Effects.
Hi, I’m a Media Composer beginner, and your videos have helped me immensely, especially with grouping and syncing clips, so thank you! In the future, could you please post a video with tips for using Media Composer’s audio effects and audio sweetening in general?
Absolutely love your videos! thank you so much! I was wondering if it was possible to for you to make a series on Conform workflows? this might be a big ask but would be amazing to have tutorials about it :D Thanks in advance Hans!! Your tutorials are so clear and helpful
Hi Hans. Great tutorial. I was wondering why you chose the premultiplied setting in AE. In all my time using Media Composer I've always been setting my alphas from AE to "Straight" otherwise the alpha would appear unclean. Also if you had made your alpha with DNxHD instead of the Animation codec, would you still have to transcode the matte? Or could you simply consolidate it? I've found that ever since the release of the UME I've had to readjust my alpha settings a bit. Still trying to figure out the best workflow for my needs. Once again great video
What do you think about fusion connect tutorial for fusion studio users? it is superior because of live rendering like dynamic link, so it can be really interesting. Anyway great videos, can't wait for more!
Hi Hans. Do you know if there is a way to open and edit an .aep file in Avid Media Composer without After Effects? I have received an alpha channel with supers and I want to edit the text. Is there a way to do this?

For sure, I'm also hoping for an easier solution in the future!
