Natural face masks/clay masks helps control oil secretion. I personally used multani mitti every morning and "besan, honey, turmeric, yogurt" face mask at night. I see a great difference in the amount of oil secreted and i don't use Moisturiser instead use rose water after a gentle cleaner which works as a toner and Moisturiser both.

sadly these can't go away with remedies, as that dark spot is actually healed skin! don't think of it as an imperfection, it's just skin covering a healed blemish which will fade. it'll take around 3-24 months to do so.
