    Thank you so much for this! Mine was just delivered today. It made more sense to buy one of these over an inversion board, for space, flexibility and financial reasons. Looking forward to trying it out for the first time with your video.

    Thank you! Just got my swing and had no idea where to start! I’m good to have so much fun! Also, makes sense but I have a slight curve in my spine that can sometime be painful/restricting when trying to stretch, so happy to work on it with this! Again a big thanks!

    I have this exact hammock! Pretty much have only just hung upside down for some self traction until recently. It is exciting to find more poses and activities to use. Namaste

    Love this, thanks!! I watched in anticipation of the arrival of my new yoga swing & was so stoked to see how clearly you explained the poses, but especially cause I recognized the quality of light & local flora. The second video confirmed my suspicion, it's like a mini-visit home! That wheel, tho!!!

    Questions:
    1.) What is a good rule of thumb when hanging the yoga straps?
    2.) How far apart to put the metal connections in ceiling beam?
    3.) How long should you set the length to body measurements?
    Thank you for this nice video for beginners!

      I hope you found the answers to you question. But just in case...
      1. You can use daisy chains to adjust the height of your handles biased on the practice you are doing (they will come in your kit).
      2. Standard distance is 18-20 inches apart.
      3. Standard height is set to the hip flexors while standing on your toes for a basic inversion. But you can change it a low height practice which is also amazing.

    This may sound strange, but I wouldn't hang upside down too long while legs are wrapped in tension because it slows and stops blood to the legs. Maybe only stay inverted for 30 seconds? I was doing upside down situps and then stretching and was upside down too long causing some muscle bruising. No long term issues and prior this CURED extreme sciatic nerve pain from kickboxing. It's a great investment for a ZehnRoom

    I’m in so much pain. My boyfriend is setting up my trapeze right now so I can try and see if this will help because I have decreased space between my discs in my tailbone from an injury 5 years ago. Literally crying from pain today. Some days are worse than others. But I have a feeling this will help me.

    I am not sure why but it hurts my lower back some from the fabric when I hang upside down. Especially when I let my arms go all the way down. I feel like Im using alot of leg strength too and I cant stay down long. Is this normal?

  • @keight6090
    @keight6090 10 місяців тому

    ... okay now how do those of us who are over 3 o and overweight get into ours because I couldn't even do that move where you lift your legs and roll up like that in high school.

  • @steffnic13
    @steffnic13 Рік тому +1

    The trapeze should hang where it is just at your lower back. It shouldn’t be above your head. Or certainly not for beginners. They should not be going upside down with it this high off the ground.

      Not at all! I’ve done yoga trapeze work before, I’m familiar with the moves. I felt confident in my skills and strength that I could flip into the trapeze. Pride cometh before the fall. I did it but I flipped missing my target nearly popping my shoulders out of the sockets.

      An important aspect to Yoga is connecting breath to movement. There is a kind of breath called Ujayi breath that is an audible breath if done correctly. Ahh, the more you know! Namaste
