Fantastic! I think your car is grand. You take care of that car. I own two Oldsmobiles myself: A 1992 Oldsmobile Toronado and a 1996 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight. You have a winner. You are aware I am sure that front grille design for that model year Eighty Eight came from the 1980 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight. There was also a Brougham LS trim package in 1984-1985 that used Ninety Eight parts too. It had the Ninety Eight seats, grille, wheels, and other features. GM/Oldsmobile did that again in 1997 and 1998 models years with Oldsmobile Regency. Thank you for sharing.
Great review ! I love these big Oldsmobiles these are true cruisers back in the day . I myself own a 81 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Brougham sedan here in Canada 🍁 .
Becoming incredibly hard to find.. wish I could of held on to my 84 brougham. I was still a kid, 21 (‘01) . The sedan was the way to go, wasn’t too fond of the coupe. Everyone was box Chevy crazy, I loved the olds . Def going to get another, when I can find the desirable combo I’m after . Enjoy that beauty!!
Be glad its an 85, I have an 83 royale brougham coupe and had a 82 sedan. The 84-85s just seem to have longer lasting paint and interior. This is gorgeous though absolutely love the color combo my coupe is the pale brown that almost looks pink in certain light with chocolate top and interior. Definitely looks like a keeper! Another thing i will ad for anyone who owns one and wants to put in an aftermarket stereo, if you take the ashtray out a single din stereo will fit in there pretty darn snug without cutting the dash you just have to extend some wires for the relocation.
I just love the car.i love the way the chime beeps I used to just keep the door open on mine just to hear it as I would clean it enjoy your car man and hope you do keep it
