Understanding Camera to Cloud with the SIGMA fp and Atomos Ninja V + Connect

- SIGMA Ambassador Graham Ehlers Sheldon discusses the gear, process and workflow benefits of Camera to Cloud technology (C2C), and how Atomos products such as the Ninja monitor and Atomos Connect module work seamlessly with the SIGMA fp and fp L cameras.
Using C2C, Graham is able to record and send footage from the beautiful Hawaiian island of Kauai back to his colleagues in Los Angeles, allowing for more efficient collaboration, from shooting location to edit bay.

In July 2023, SIGMA America and Atomos collaborated to produce this brief video explaining Camera to Cloud technology, and how our respective products utilize that technology for the benefit of filmmakers. The entire video was shot on location on the island of Kauai, Hawaii.
Shortly after the video was completed, the neighboring island of Maui was severely affected by wildfires. While our filming location was not on Maui, we felt it would not be considerate to release a distinctly Hawaiian-themed video at that time.
Since then, the people of Maui have shown incredible fortitude as they begin to recover from the disaster. Our goal is to contribute to this effort through our annual Focused on the Fight campaign, which kicked off in September 2023. This year, FOTF aims to support a variety of projects nationwide in underfunded schools through Donors Choose at www.donorschoose.org.

Hi! Thanks for the support! The BTS footage was shot with a few different cameras, the SIGMA fp being one of them, and all SIGMA lenses. Hope that helps!
A Ronin 4D was employed. I’m just not sure which Sigma prime was used. Maybe an i series Wide.
The video distracted me from the background music. 😉
