What is the texture of the cloth? I sleep mostly unclothed, and really can’t sleep with anything with lots of texture against my skin, would I need a sheet between it and myself? Or is it fairly smooth to the skin?

In our experience, the cotton on this is quite soft! The only "texture" you might feel is from the chunkiness of the weave itself.
