Lyrics:
You have a crew and you raise a sail
But there's an anchor in tow
You feel the wind and you feel the rush
But the tide is low
You can't see what your missing
Horizons too far away
And the sun is setting
You lost another day
Ship of fools
Sailing with a ship of fools
Ship of fools
Sailing with a ship of fools
You have to wait for the fog to clear
So you can find your way
Surprised to find that your floating there
You never left the bay
Ship of fools
Sailing with a ship of fools
Ship of fools
Sailing with a ship of fools

wonderful blues vibe.
Thank you!
incredible
I love this song’ so good
Thanks brother. I've been measuring every new idea I come up with lately to it... a little inhibiting.
@@stevekonbass you are a fantastic songwriter and exceptional musician.
Thank you! I appreciate that.
@@stevekonbass you’re welcome.
Fantastic !!! Great Sounds 👍👍👍🎸🌟
Thank you!!
Very, very nice my brother!! Dig it!!
Thank you brother!
Yes, yes! great song done well.
Thanks!!
Hey Steve, Butch here, nice song! I really like it a lot!!!
Hey thanks for checking it out Butch. It was fun to do.
I love this song! Probably my favorite ! Lyrics are so cool, but that bass line is sick! Thanks Steve!
Thanks John!
This song came up in my feed the other day, and I listen to it in my living room with the full speakers I was blown away how tight this song is I love it! Excellent job. Today, I just wanted to hear it with my headphones, lol looking forward to new music from.
Thanks brother! Glad you got to hear it with speakers. So much gets lost when people just listen on their phone. I have a new one that I'm sitting on. There are debates going on inside my head on production.
OMG....sounding great. Steve, you have a great voice... reminds me of Joe Lynn Turner... Nice song!!! Really tight band as well.
Thanks! Man, I wish I could sing like Joe Lynn or any of those other guys with the big voice. But... work with what ya got. Thanks for listening brother!
@@stevekonbass .....checking out your bass lessons as well. I got my Schecter Stiletto Deluxe back out thanks to you... Thanks so much, my friend.
That's great man! Yeah, don't let that bass collect dust. The Schecter is a great bass. One of my top 2 that I did many, many gigs with. I must have it around 20 years or so now. I did a review on it a while back: ua-cam.com/video/NT8kIC8NWsE/v-deo.htmlsi=10wT1tm9HwVJsOhF
Loved it!
Thank you!!!😊
👏🏼🤘🏻
The musicianship on display here is superb. Each player on top of their game. Blues feels good!
Thanks Kate!
Very Tasty tune Steve, love how bluesy your stuff is and how well the bass carries it, Great guitar work too my man. Keep 'em coming!
Hey thanks for listening. Bluesy stuff has been my interest as of late... with a little twist I gather.
@@stevekonbass Ya, liked how solid the bass was, left a lot of space for you to solo on guitar, VERY SRV... Cheers!
The guitar chords came first for this one and then the bass. Then the lyrics and then the guitar solo. Gave Mike the drummer a basic idea of where I wanted the kick and then he just did his thing. So, the drums were next to last to being recorded. When I heard it as a whole I heard horn hits in my head. So I got a little obsessive crazy with a cheapo keyboard to try to simulate horn hits. Hey, thanks for listening and the comments. I enjoy talking music shop with people.
@@stevekonbass Like those keys as well. Nice work and process!!
LOL, yes I did put organ in it too. You just reminded me. I used a microkorg for that: ua-cam.com/video/sl83Fu3a8Vc/v-deo.html
Sounds great with great groove
Thanks Mike D. Come on south. We'll do some blues.

Thank you! Yes, done with the R16. "Hello Nova Scotia!"
I love it.
Ah, thanks brother! Appreciate you listening. Hope all is well and you're jamming on the bass, drums, and cello!
Nice track Steve! Good to see you doing music again.
Thanks John. Never stopped. It's always in one form or another, lol.
@@stevekonbass that’s right. Sounds good man.
