Leda Theotokoglou Well, in Touhou, all stages end with a boss. So there is one part with basic enemies and one part with the real boss. And the 2 have different musics.
This is hands down my favorite version of this song. The ending in particular is jaw droppingly beautiful.
for some reason or another, this song was playing from my phone in my pocket as I made my goodbyes to my family as they dropped me off at college. I mustve put on a youtube synthesia playlist while unpacking.
but the end of the song came on just as my family packed up and drove off, and finished as they moved out of sight in the late afternoon sun. it almost brought a tear to my eye.
see its almost like there's some things in your life that seem so perfectly constructed -- so well aligned that it almost seemed planned. a moment in time where you feel nothing but pure joy. fullfillment. happiness; something you work for ; something so perfect that no matter how hard you try the memory will never leave your head, because it is precisely what you live for.
my entire childhood, I had searched for the perfect moment. something that would say that what I've worked for had payed off. that it all was worth it. I hoped my entire childhood that sooner than Later, I would see that moment -- the first time I would feel not only happy, but fulfilled with what I have done with the past of my life.
I never thought that the moment in the form of the same one I would effectively kiss my childhood goodbye.
thanks to this song, that moment became a memory. One I will treasure forever
so uh. thank you for this.

WARNING! IN-DEPTH CRITICISM!
From the moment I first heard the original, I felt that while it was catchy and interesting, it was a little repetitive; I looked for covers that would solve the problem, but all of them fell short, either from sticking to the original like glue or straying too far away from what made the original interesting.
Your cover, though, was PRECISELY what I was looking for. You stayed close enough to the original that it was still recognizable, but kept changing up orchestration, harmony, adding or removing or even combining melodic lines to avoid being repetitive. Your version, IMO, blows the original clear out of the water. Bravo!
