Hey man, quick question - did you prepare the guitar for those gauges somehow? Like did you file some more room in the string cavities? Or did you just widen the nut?
@@ethereal8655 I bought this guitar second hand not too long ago so I didn't put these strings on. However, it's made for this Big of a gauge since it's a 30inch baritone, so i'm pretty sure it has not been prepared ;)
@@R4K4R4 It's the strings for the Squier bass VI since i'm using a 30" baritone. I didn't put these strings on, but I'm guessing somewhere along the lines of 24-84 😬
@@KoalinOfficial that would be really thick even for baritone tho, normal is 13-72, what tuning do you have it in bc in standard baritone tuning idk how your guitars neck is still alive lol
@@R4K4R4 it's a copy of a squier Bass VI, being a 30 inch, default tuning is E standard (down the Octave) which is what I'm tuned in :D (pitch shifted -1)
@@KoalinOfficial Ohhh ok mb ypu ment 30" baritone scale lenght, thought you meant baritone guitar which is half an octave down (A# Standard) then that gauge is fine
