The only difference was that after installing the Magisk to the inactive slot it did not "force" me to reboot. I manually did it anyways and everything was set.

But this time from using advance reboot, I tried rebooting to recovery. It's stuck at twrp teamwin screen which is continuously blinking. I'm not able to use power button to restart my phone or power off. Please help. I don't want to lose my data.
Since TWRP A/B retention script is no longer on Magisk because the download section was removed how can we get TWRP A/B retention script so we can update without losing root, data and twrp??🤔

"Grant storage permission to enable functionality" Not sure what permissions it's referring to, I checked magisk permissions in phones settings and it shows it's not asking for any. Am i missing something obvious in this situation? Thank you.

It's download permissions. Download the TWRP retention script from Chrome and flash it from Magisk.
Do you have to use Oxygen Updater to download the update or can you also the update that is given to you in the settings?
If you're rooted, go with Oxygen updater. If you're not rooted use Oxygen updater to get the update faster.

It's not stock launch. I use a third-party launcher called 'Lawnchair 2'. Give it a shot. It's available on the playstore.

If your bootloader is unlocked, go ahead and root your device by following the tutorial on the channel. Backup just in case.

This method will work, simply skip the 'TWRP retention' step.
