I’ve had these notebooks for years and have stopped using them as I have recently become obsessed with fountain pens and write almost exclusively with fountain pens right now and this paper isn’t good for that purpose but great to use with my Sarasa gel pens;) I’d love to see a comparison between Rhodia and Scribbles that Matter notebook to see which has the best pen test;)
I wish you had spent more time on the binding, especially since it looks so unusual. Is it stitched or just glued? From what I could see it looks like they line up the vertical lines along the binding, which means that with that weird curved binding the vertical lines have different positions relative to the edge. It wouldn't bother me on the right page. But on the left? That's just dumb.

@@journaljoy Sweet deal! They're a bit on the expensive side, but from what i hear, the paper quality is very good. I am not a fountain pen user though, so i didn't look to see if it is supposed to be fountain pen-friendly.

I like the look of big chunky notebooks, but I usually get bored with them before I use them up.

They have an A7 now, they also at some point have a top folding notebook as well, i have one, no idea where to get a new one though

Suggestion; have you considered testing watercolor? Would this paper hold up like Tomoe river for watercolor? Much love.

It's just glued. Since it lies flat after you break into it the lines appear straight.....
