So you were saying that you got some of your secondaries done late. Will that hurt your application or does that just mean you'll have less of a chance to get in because of rolling admissions?
Thanks for the great video!! Did you send them your transcript with senior spring grades or only with your fall grades? I'll probably get my transcript end of May, and I don't want to be late.
I believe transcript only had fall grades, and then spring grades get added in when you send transcript AFTER you actually get into medical school haha.
Question about applications. Is it frowned upon to not have your MCAT score ready to turn in on June 1st when you submit your application? Like is is better to already have your score instead of having your score sent after you do the application?
hey great video!!! I've already reached out to my professors/Dr's/advisors for LOR. I don't take the mcat until mid June. So in your opinion when would be the best time to submit my application bc my score will not be in until mid July? I'll have everything else completed by mid June. My GPA is average but I also have great post bac grades and completed a masters in biochemistry.
I think you can still submit your application early. They'll start reviewing it with the knowledge that they just add the MCAT score on when it arrives! The late MCAT score shouldn't (at least to my knowledge) hold you back from getting your app reviewed and processed. However, double check with AMCAS and make sure! :)
If you want to go straight from undergrad to medical school, then you would APPLY at the END of your third year. The app cycle takes 1 year, and thus, you will matriculate the moment you finish undergrad! :) Hope that makes sense!
Why would you need MSAR with a 3.99 gpa and 98 percentile MCAT. You were highly qualified for all schools. It was just a crap shot as to which one was going to select you from a sea of other quasi perfect applicants
Prerak you messed up the dates! Everywhere that you said 2017 you meant 2016! lolol. Might want to add that correction as an annotation. Between 15:32 and 15:49 for example you go back in time by a year. Not a big deal though haha
Hi Prerak, I hope all is well. What is your email? I am a second year undergraduate student and have a lot of questions since I was looking to apply next year.
I appreciate your efforts to help us with our application.
Thanks!!! Let me know if you have any questions :)
I love how you are so real and legit helpful. Thank you so much!🙏❤️
Can I have your email?

Hi Prerak,
Are we able to send our transcript before our respective AMCAS cycle opens?
Yup! I sent it to them super early! :)
Prerak Juthani I sent one of my transcripts without a note or anything, will they still accept it?
So when should you apply for med school if you want to go straight from undergraduate to med school

Very informative. Thank you!
Thank you for the support!
Were the interviews you got mostly from schools to which you submitted secondaries early?
Not necessarily! I got interviews where I submitted later, but those were schools that aren't considered "rolling" (like Yale/Harvard/etc).
