I love my Mini E-PM1. I bought it for its compact size and ability. Still using it in 2024. Though the LCD screen is starting to act up as in having weird orange shadows on objects, but the image themselves are not affected. I have it in black body.
One can only hope that the old cameras last a while longer. Quality was still being built back then. But at some point every time will break. I hope yours lasts a long time, despite the screen.
One thing people just don't get, in the race for full frame and bigger, is 12MP is way more than needed to fill a 4K screen. If you're not printing poster size, M4/3 is BETTER. Stick a 17mm f1.8 on any PEN and you've got something fantastically capable, for next to nothing.
Inspirational. Grabbing this camera next weekend, I plan on shooting NYC. Can you please share your Olympus Mini E-PM1 street photography camera setting used in this video? Danke
Good day, I found your UA-cam channel and I must say that you have very successful POV street photo videos. Fingers crossed and I wish you many more successes. I also wanted to ask about photo editing, I really like it, do you happen to have created a preset that is on the video? I would love to have it in my collection. If it is for sale, I will buy it. Thank you for your early reply. Greetings from Slovakia and good luck in the new year, Mirec
Hello and thank you very much. A new video with Olympus E-PM is coming tomorrow. There I edited all the images with my preset pack. If you like these you will find the link to them under my video tomorrow.
Olympus cameras are nice and handy and the MFt sensors are surprisingly good. I don't have a real favorite camera. But I liked the old digital cameras with CCD sensors. Because they have a bit of that analog film look.
It's a shame people have realised how amazingly good the old Olympus XZ-1 and XZ-2 are. They really are amazing, but they've become too expensive second hand. Olympus PEN cameras are cheaper, lens changeable, much bigger sensor and a better buy for those interested in pocketable brilliance.
@@pixelkiez thanks for not taking it the bad way. i do think they all look cool and thats more of a compliment saying you don't need editing for your pictures to look good since the composition is great. but i appreciate not wanting to make it seem like its SOOC when its highly edited, some people forget to mention and it's hard when comparing camera quality SOOC to then buy
@@artor1309 You are absolutely right. Image editing is always a feeling of the moment. I wouldn't edit many of the images in my videos like that today. And constructive criticism is always welcome. I always include the before pictures, as they come out of the camera. Maybe I'll make a video of the camera without editing the pictures.
I have the E-PM2 and LUUUV it!!! I shoot it every chance I get! Pair it with the LightPix Labs Flash Q and you got yourself a serious portrait camera.
Oh nice. I haven't used it as a portrait camera yet. But good to know that it would be possible.
I have the same camera and i love it. Your work is beautiful. Regards from Argentina!
Thank you very much. Greets to Argentina 🙌
Needed my dosage of your work, thanks for the upload!
Yeah, have fun at work 🙌
Tanx for the upload sir .. awesome lil camera the pen series are really nice little cameras
Oh yes, I was very surprised too.

@@pixelkiez any recommendations for reasonably priced lenses? I have the kit one and a M Zuiko 17mm.
@@jusadude7162 I think you're doing well with the two lenses. The 25mm F1.8 is good too. I wouldn't go any bigger with the small body.
Sind ja paar richtige Klassiker dabei! Die Tour ist immer gut für schöne Bilder! 🔥
Danke dir 👍 Ja die Tour ist auch immer gut für Kameratests, da weiß man, man bekommt ein paar shots für Video 😂
I still have one, I keep it with the 9mm body-cap lens on. Outrageously pocketable and way better than many might suspect.
That sounds like a nice setup. 🙌
Wie immer klasse !!!
Besten Dank 🙌
Beautiful place to take photo!
Am using epl7 + 20mm f1.7 for my anything photography. Keep it coming
Thank you very much. You have a great combo.
Man, you' re so good at getting great shots everywhere you go. Do you find the lack of buttons and dials very annoying, or is it doable?
It's a limitation, so I usually only take photos in A mode. That would be too complicated for me in M mode.

You are absolutely right. I have already tested many older cameras and even those with 5 MP were still completely sufficient.
@@pixelkiez Good enough to use in html, but probably a good idea to be above the 4k full screen size (8.3MP)

Yes 🙌

Oh, this will definitely be very interesting. I simply took photos in AV mode and was mostly at aperture 5.6. I shot in RAW.
Pls tell me how and what you use to edit your photos. They look insanely nice

I have the Olympus E-P7, such a fun little camera to use. What's your favorite camera to use so far?

Nice images, but why do you apply the yellow hue?
Thank you, I felt that way at that moment

Witam i dziękuję. Niestety nie mogę nic na ten temat powiedzieć. Nie jestem zaznajomiony z wideo w Panaosic i Olympus.
Hi can I ask for a camera, any kind of camera, just a camera because I want to start becoming a photographer, I hope you can give it to me.
No, sorry
What is the preset youre using to edit the photos?
My own presets in lightroom.

Unfortunately, the hype always drives up the prices.
the camera and shots itself were cool, your editing i think is really really strong and ruins the vibes
