If you are happy with the automatic mode, then continue to use it. At the very latest, when you use a good prime lens, I would at least switch to mode A to take photos with an open aperture.

I use mostly the tv mode with a shutterspeed 1/150. Iso auto. AF-S

If you want something compact and as small as possible, don't take a lot of photos in low light and shoot videos, then the ZV-1. Otherwise the ZV-E10

At the moment, 508 euros is a good price. But I would buy a used one. You can often get one for 200 euros. You can invest the 300 euros in a good lens.

@@Savage-tq1pc Sounds pretty good. The strap isn't that good anyway and you don't need the box to take photos. So if it's really excellent, it's a good entry-level camera.

Yes, just yesterday I took photos with the ZV-E10 in bright sunshine. I had no problems. In the menu you just have to set it to "Sunny" and then the display gets a brightness boost.

Falls du sie mal in die Hand bekommst, einfach mal austesten. Die Ricoh ist halt stärker wenn man Zone Fokus benutzt und generell etwas schneller. Durch den größeren Sensor natürlich auch besser in Low Light. Für die Sony spricht halt der Preis.

Yes, the cameras weren't that good in low light back then. But you can save a lot with black and white.

I can only agree with you. I ended up with the X-E4. Fuji has always improved its cameras a lot.

And sometimes they go farther than I care to follow, as in this case. I’m an old school shooter who doesn’t give a hoot about video or action photography, which places most of the “advances” of more modern versions out of my care range. I also prefer the first 2 sensors & the body style & operations (I don’t use touch screen). All that being the case, the X-E2 (& the X-T1, which I also own), is the Sweet Spot for me. Extra bonus is the fact that my Mint condition bodies cost me less than $500 each👌 …. the last bodies made in Japan as well, an aesthetic pleasantry, if nothing else, engraved into the bodies 😊

@@raymeedc Then of course that's understandable. You're simply buying comfort with newer models. And if you don't need all of these things, it's a good opportunity to take photos with the old treasures, which look wonderful.
