"I shot this from an air conditioning duct with a tri-pod and fluid head!" That's commitment, thanks for you efforts and sharing, Presto was a great tour!
Superb footage! I was there and what it looks like maybe 5-10 rows from behind where this was recorded. Thank you and blessings for this classic footage!
To the one who recorded this performance and gave the world free access to it: You are to be GREATLY thanked! There should never ever be a Rush tour performance in Toronto that is not recorded. You helped to prevent one of the lesser, but important, crimes against against all of humanity by doing that!!!
Sounds very good with a speaker... Surprising! I honestly enjoy these crowd-shot videos more than professional ones. You can see all the band members at once and it's a lot more like actually being there... I guess the only way to make it more authentic would be to spill beer on my floor or something.
What a gem this is! The camera quality and sound is killer for 1990. This has quickly become one of my favourite full-length Rush video boots! Thank you so much for posting.
@@MrRezRising I’m very aware of StickHits! He’s a good friend of mine actually. I posted this comment before he remastered songs from this show, he did an outstanding job!!
William G.... THANK YOU for this. I was there, my first show, on the floor standing on my own near the back! Barely 17 and I'm still just as enthralled with Rush as back then. I'll be 50 this April! Regards, Todd.
I remember this tour from the Meadowlands Arena. 'Freewill', 'Red Barchetta' and 'Xanadu' had been retired for most of the '80's and brought back for this tour. It was amazing to hear! Great memories.
I watch a Rush concert every year on the anniversary of my last Rush concert which was on 6/25/2015. Thanks so much for this video as it represents the first tour on which I got to see the band. Great stuff!!!
This was one of my favorite tours ever. Man 19 years old in the Omni in Atlanta was such a great time. Back then you didn’t go broke to see a killer show…

Thanks for sharing this video. There might not have been a better period for rush in concert than the late eighties through the mid nineties. Everything was great, the sound was the best, the lighting was about as cool as it gets.. Everything just clicked.
I’m extremely thankful for this video, I was born in 2002 and didn’t get into Rush until after the R40 tour, now Neil is gone and I’ll never be able to see one of the greatest bands of all time live and in person, so videos like this one are what keeps the dream alive 🤘
Wow!!! This is fantastic! I'm glad I stumbled on this because I was in attendance at this show. I drove with three buddies from Syracuse (and drove back to Syracuse after the show...of course we stopped at the duty-free store for a couple cases of Molson Brador!) Sound and picture quality absolutely superb!!! Thanks for posting. I also saw Rochester and Albany shows on this tour.

I saw it at the spectrum in philly with my parents when i was 13 or 14. Dont remember much of it. I remember the big bunnies and the screen they used during scars. Im 45 now 🙄
That was on the Counterparts tour. From what I remember, the band wanted to finally retire the rabbits (after feature them for 3 consecutive tours) so they came up with the gag of one rabbit “killing” the other lol
Awesome video. I made a post about the two concerts you filmed at the Maple Leaf Gardens on a popular Rush forum. A different bootleg of this show has been available for years, but I was blown away at the quality of yours when I stumbled across it. Also, an air duct?! Were you dangling outside of it or did you poke your head out and film it? Either way that's an insane level of dedication.
Through the Camera Lenses It was a small room. A MLG employee bought a bunch of earlier shows from me (I street vended VHS copies on Young St) He asked me if he got my gear in and set me up with a stealthy spot, would I shoot him a free copy? Sure.
I miss these shows so much

Blessing for US all Bro
Thank you, this is one of the few tours I missed since Signals

Me too! There’s one on StickHits channel where you can see Neil from the side.
I was at this show and it was the final time I saw Rush live. Quebec band Voivod opened.
Wow! For me that's a dream show.
Man i wish i could have seen a concert inside maple leaf gardens. Looked like such a loud building
Was! I saw this concert and the one that happened the next day, it was so loud but today the place is a grocery store!!!
@gregemerson7648 that's right....I remember there were two shows but they only drew 10000 each night.
This was one week after I saw them for the first time, in Worcester, MA.
What a gem this is! The camera quality and sound is killer for 1990. This has quickly become one of my favourite full-length Rush video boots! Thank you so much for posting.
Psst, check out StickHits's channel.
Fully remastered and upscaled Rush boots. BEST on the internet. 🤘🤘

This was the last Rush show I ever saw live. It was an amazing show!!
What was the 1st ?
@@lhuorlina2192 It was at Hamilton Place in 1975. Caress of Steel - End of Tour
Me too....then I got married
Why didn't you see any subsequent tours? I saw every tour from VT-last show at forum 😎 miss em greatly 😢
I saw Rush 16 times in total.
I’ve watched the soundcheck for this date a bunch. Glad I can view the show that followed it. Thank you!

Philadelphia! I saw them in Toronto, you most likely saw that show too, on blu ray, the Friday concert was on fire - much like all of them lol:)
The smoke with lasers was new for the time, but is still such a great effect.

fantastic quality!!! Haven't seen this before and being I can't sleep anyway, I

Same here, I was born in 03 and never got to go to a show
Awesome! I was there with my buddies! 18 years old. Thank you for putting this up. Told my son about the rabbits and there they are!
Thanks so much for sharing!

The Professor is so powerful.
Great show, thanks for the upload. Would have loved to see the boys in their hometown.
Hey Bill - Long time - we used to trade in the 80s or 90s even.... Tom from NY
Good boot! Thanks. This tour was my first concert - Worcester, MA.
Geddy Lee was interviewed in 2017 on The Big Interview with Dan Rather
What a legend...
Thanks for the upload! I saw them on this tour in February

Bro the Holy Trinity Blessed You My Friend
That's why people would go see rush. It was either for their show as far as lasers. Or the professor himself, that's it.
106:38 Ged pointed his finger at moi, front row floors, was looking for this bootleg for decades. Cheers
You should get the uncompressed version from me. It’s a direct digital transfer from the master tape.
Saw this tour in Atlanta...31 years ago. Is that really possible??
I saw it at the spectrum in philly with my parents when i was 13 or 14. Dont remember much of it. I remember the big bunnies and the screen they used during scars. Im 45 now 🙄
And its funny about that scars screen, i remember it being really cool, but seeing it here, its not nearly as impressive as i thought. Kinda crappy.
Crazy, I was 19...
Didn't one rabbit shoot the other at some point in the show?
That was on the Counterparts tour. From what I remember, the band wanted to finally retire the rabbits (after feature them for 3 consecutive tours) so they came up with the gag of one rabbit “killing” the other lol

I went to one these shows but my ex wife wasn't into it and left early. Can't believe I found this.
@stockman9914 that’s her loss she must’ve just not got the message that this is the best band on earth.
those Ludwig's sound so clear like the Tama's did before. The DW-s never sounded nearly as good.
I agree, his dw's hogged up all the frequencies.
Hey Will, how did you films this through an AC duct
It was actually a small room that was part of the HVAC system.
Lacklustre and sterile... all round boring.
You hear the hammer from Neil Peart
