I'm playing Miss Jackie Prime with a theatre company, touring around schools in North East Scotland as well as a couple shows in our building. This is gonna be fun XD
I'm doing this for my final play in BTEC Drama and I'm Salty (Odd choice for one of the most bloody feminine girls I know, but I have a tendency to play guys) and I have just lost all confidence in my performance, even though we have a larger cast so I only have to learn likes as Salty and an extra teacher. Also, this Salty reminds me of a Thenardier I saw once while trawling through School Editions of Les Mis.

Im playing hobby, miss parry and mr Nixon! because I had to talk to myself a lot with hobby and Nixon ive gave some of my lines to gail so that doesn't happen as much. The person playing Salty in my group isn't capable of learning Mr Nixons lines aswell...:(

I have just finished teechers for my GCSE and this could have been so much better, chunks of monologues were missed out, an entire act (but I assume that was on purpose) and the whole point was to show that you were actors in a play, which was completely missed here. The characterisation was poor and everyone was walking around too much, it distracted from the acting which is where the examiner is suppose to be looking. The music in this play also plays a significant part, however when it was played during the scenes it did not quite fit. I did it in promenade and so we had music between transitions and in scenes like the disco from act II. Please note that I only payed attention to pages 16 to the end of act II (which was my extract). Also remember just my opinion.
Laur3nBVB We wanted to have the main narrative of Act 1, so we had no choice! This wasn't the final version however, we re-edited and redefined the plot line for us so we ended up taking up a much more linear narrative, and cutting off a little more towards the end. :)
