@Shujinkydink I know in UMK3 the last time we had Animalities in the series the Scorpion was Sheeva but, since she’s not playable in this game as of yet, I really think the huge Scorpion doesn’t take much brainpower to figure out who will change into that one based on who’s the most logical one to change into the “Scorpion” for his Animality lol. 😂
I am super excited for all of what is coming. I originally thought the idea of Ghostface was kind of weird but after thinking about it, they do portray him as more supernatural. I also like kharacters with knives, and their usual play style.
Why don't people understand this? Cyborg is a combination of the words "cyber" and "organism"...this means part robot, part human. No reason why a cyborg can't have a human face.
They're so Marvel inspired it's almost sickening for me, from lore perspective, I've always been more a lore than gameplay fan but i preorder the year 1 premium have played 350 hours mostly invasions and the tower due to work and studies not sure I'll be in as much for year 2 but we shall see

Everything looks amazing. But I am not happy about sektor and cyrax! wtf! I guess it’s content. I wasn’t that excited about these guest characters either. I don’t know.
I like that Sektor and Cyrax finally feel like characters. Been playing since the first and they always felt bland and out of place. Giving them the partial robotic Takeda vibe really works and makes them feel a lot more like ninjas and helps with feeling like actual characters. OGs SHOULD be relegated to kameos and background flavor. But that's just my opinion as someone who's been playing since all the way back
I agree with u 💯 percent! Been playing since the game came out. When parents and politicians were tryna get it banned😂. I like the kameo system which gives a great way to pay homage to the originals, and keep gameplay fresh and innovative. While also giving space for new, and old things in a new way
The best part was the Empress Mileena skin, the New Story., and Animalities! But I will say the gender-bending was very disappointing. I mean We have JADE and SKARLET, and the Outworld conflict is still ongoing witrh Shao so I thought that would be a side plot alongside Titan Havik and given how MK1's story was more Outworld-focused these two would've been perfect choices to continue that side of the narrative. I primarily play the females, but I'm against gender-bending and would've taken an all-male pack over this. I guess we have to wait for KP3 and hopefully, the patience of us Jade and Edenian/Outworld stans is rewarded. Curious about kameos as well. From the old leaks, I think Kintaro of Shinnok were among some of the choices, so hopefully they reveal their identities soon.
Noob looks friggin awesome. Honestly dunno how I feel about Cyrax and Sektor yet. And agree about Ghostface. He is iconic but I never really cared for him. Just a dude with a knife, pretty lame choice. I was hoping for Pinhead.

With how many horror guest characters Ed Boon has thrown in, he should make a horror fighting game. Kinda like Terrordrome. As for Ghostface, he's a costume worn by different people. Nothing supernatural about them. Unless, you count the Ghostface from Dead by Daylight, who has stealth-based abilities given by the Entity.
Ed Boon is a horror fanatic. If Ghostface didnt happen in this game it would happen in another. Honestly I think he wants MIchael Meyers but maybe that just wasnt possible this time around and Ghostface was. With that said, onto the cyborgs. Dont care that they're genderbent, go for it lets do it. I will say that genderbending characters instead of adding ANY of the female characters that already exist is a massive L and frankly a dumb decision imo. Dont care one bit about Conan and T1000 but hey Peacemaker turned about to be fun and I thought he looked indescribably goofy and out of place so, hey, maybe surprise me. The fact we're getting Noob, Sektor AND Cyrax on the same day with the expansion and animalities is massive and im so glad we dont have another year of content drops. its all in one aside from the guests. Thank god. Noob looks really silly imo and the gameplay they showed was REALLY boring, and I highly doubt thats the case. I think they just gave him some bad clips. His cinematics were the best part of the trailer

Not to mention gender swapping half the cast.
