@willieguitars I was searching out this tune for nostalgic reasons ..the last time i played it was in 1980! Lots of covers of this tune on ytube but the tone you have here is absolutely gorgeous. Hard to beat a Les Paul! I prefer it to the original ! Just the right amount of sustain.
That song is from the "Inner secrets" album. I used a little bit of phasing effect from my ( Alesis ) rack. I change my reverb settings from time to time depending on the song. let's say if i play live in a place with lots of embiance i don't use any reverb effects at all.
I don't know about willie, but I can put tracks together sometimes using Band-In-A Box. It's not a fool proof guarantee that you'll get exact results but it helps if you can program your own styles with the software.
That's another beautiful song that I never heard before. Escuse my ignorance on this but did you use a little bit of phaser effect on this track? I am still learning to recognise the effects mostly used on guitars. :) Also, how do you calculate the amount of delay and reverb to fit nicely to the song? Regards, Franco.
I must know man...where do you get your backing tracks? if you were to put a santana mask on it'd be hard to tell the difference from your playing and his...great job man...this and victory is won are my favs...I am a huge santana fan and I started playing about a year ago it'd be great if you could send me the chords to whatever songs you can..thanks very much for sharing your talent -Pablo
