Again, i'm a fan, and im not saying he's dishonest, he was confident perhaps even overconfident early on, and im not saying hes a bad person or wrong for it, i'm aware of the matchup, he's said himself other matchups are more even or Falcon wins, so in next offline tourney against fatality everyone just goes pikachu ? :) , no, but he's got some areas of personal investment.
@@Tcurtsed1 Falcon was somewhere around mid tier and is now somewhere around high tier yes, but like I said it's not like he's broken now or has "unbeatable" options like you said? Right but you were calling this a reality check and an ego check, and I'm telling you how it absolutely isn't, especially considering the fact that everyone knows this matchup is almost impossible and Fatality has lost harder to other characters/players in his other FT10s anyway. I don't think you're hating on Fatality or anything just wanted to clear some things up that you said
@@TheFullPackage I understand, and i think to some extent we're almost on the same page, i use the term 'broken' as a one word easier way of saying how improved the buffs made it, i guess for example sake, the Falcos, fox's, ken, ryu, ganon, list goes on with linear recoveries, you know where they're going all you have to do is tap them during and they're dead :) he's had alot of those. I could elaborate on the ego/reality comments in great detail, but i wont. you're all welcome :)
Well said. He needed that injection of reality
I lied 20:40 where is where it at
Fatality, you should do a video where you let fans play you in some Captain Falcon dittos and see who can take a game in a best of 5. I want to be your first challenger :D
Lmao
www.twitch.tv/fatalityfalcon you can even do it live
Tell you what, game 13 he was feelin’ himself. That was sick.
Basically you need to soul-read your opponents without getting caught in a backair chain, grab, or spot-dodge to down smash.
How to beat Pikachu? Select Hero and fish for good menu spells like Bounce and Kaboom. Works for me on Elite Smash.
13:35 Zarpado ese doble trueno
Fatality: We loose to Pikachu but its not that bad
Also Fatality: *Gets fucked by Pikachu* *Gets 3 stocked* *gets 0 to death*
Fatality: How to beat Pikachu?
Smash 64: *you can't*
Idk. 64 Falcon actually fares decently against 64 Pika. In that game it's Kirby that gives Falcon the business.
"how to beat pikachu?"
fatality: well, I'll spam random upsmash
The MU is better than it used to be, but it still looks like a -2. Pikachu's got combos that basically unplug the Falcon players controller. They're the kind of combos no character should have.
Is up the correct di when getting up air chained by pikachu? I think there’s a way to get out of some of these pikachu combos, even as a heavy, I think it involves footstooling (not joking, in case fatality sees this)
Up air bridges work on any di though it's slightly harder to hit if you di the down throw in. Once caught by the weak ua you can only sdi though since it's not strong enough to put you in tumble. Only works on certain characters though and is hard to pull off.
Fatality you mad mad man...I know how this will go already 😅. But happy to see you give it your best shot!!
Edit: Watches Fatality take first stock--game. "FATALITY LET'S GOOOOOOO!!"
Those lingering hit boxes kill me inside
30:45 ok but IMAGINE if that worked lmao
1:09
Lol
Ground hitbox beeg
Now THIS is content
This matchup always seems to be very momentum driven. I know that shouldnt be a factor on paper, but it really seems to go that way.
Fatality starts every game at 30 with this matchup
Not 30, fatality starts this game at 60 and off stage in this matchup 😂
If you lose to Pikachu and it's "not that bad" are you sure playing Smash Ultimate?
Must just be playing Ness, G&W or Mario.
@@SeriousStriker lol i play inceneroar sooo
I don't think I can manage to sit through this one... Gotta sit out this time, friends.
The pikachu falcon matchup is just trying to hit the rat or not get gimped. If you can do these 2 things it can be a close match.
ESAM went ham after Fatality didn't give him that homie stock 😂
This is like watching to gods clash
It's crazy how friggin good that esam is with this character
Pikachu out of backair is flatter than Kansas
it's kind of impressive how much less damage you end up taking when you count on esam mashing nair when he's getting combo'd
been getting good punishes off of it and even full resets out of it
Esam autopilots a lot
pikachu enables autopiloting a lot
Agan Mardrus that’s also true lol
Agan Mardrus pika lame af
Captain falcon is less lame?
HIW DO YOU STAY SO CALM I DONT GET IT! Id prabably have thrown my controller after the losing twice, i envy your mental fortitude
That was fun to watch
