Great info. Now I can work on my pentatinic scales ...along with the minor scales.

Now I'm confused. If a scale is built W.W.H.W.W.W.H how is 4 & 7 H, or am I over thinking?

The 3rd to the 4th is a half step, so is the 7th to the root. When you take out the 4th and 7th the scale doesn’t have any 1/2 steps
