Packrafting Healy River in Alaska and Learning Lessons

A lil’ recap of our Sunday adventure! Lessons were learned.
We hiked up Healy Spur Road and then started a short float on the Healy River. This time of year, it was SHALLOW, which made it a focus fest. If you didn’t cut hard enough, you’d bottom out.
Shout out to Backwoods Coffee for being open so early on Sunday mornings.
