- The Hoh River carries glacial-blue water through a peaceful valley of temperate rainforest. Well, peaceful except for the amount of logs in the channel. Always wear a PFD when packrafting and make sure you have the skillset and mindset to avoid upcoming hazards.

That log right at the beginning would have made a perfect setup for a paddle toss......
What section is this?? Have a trip planned for literally a few days. Was always expecting to portage some log jams. We were planning to launch from Lewis Meadow Campgrounds
