All is well Ryan. Working on RB211s and Avons un in Scotland at the moment but now the lockdown is easing should be able to get the Loyd hull finished and painted in the next two months.
It's the closest modern steel thickness. Originally all Loyd panels were 1/16th of an Inch, that is 1.6mm. I have used 1.5mm as it is readily available in England today.
Just wondering if the armour could deflect an 88mm? Seriously, follow your FB page and doing a sterling job mate although your daughter should be wearing appropriate footwear!
Kids! I was lucky she wasn’t out in slippers. On the subject of armour I have the original 7mm BP plate from the firing range, I’ll do a video on that....I think it was hit with more that small arms fire.
