  • This really cool effect in DaVinci resolve allows you to make map animations inside Fusion.

I do more or less the exactly the same in KeyNote, the advantage of doing it there is you save it as a MOV file and can then be used anywhere.

Liked this, relatively easy to follow. For some reason when I unlinked one map i could not link in the other. I got it eventually and works very well. Thanks!

Why do you use a background when the map itself is the background, ten you just chose the colour of what you want the line to be. is this somthing that got changes in later versions as i have never used a background and have the very same thing, from the last couple of version, good video just wondering why tho?

Great stuff Dave, I think this will come in handy for not just maps. It’s a shame I can’t seem to get the polygon to disappear from where it started if that makes sense *EDIT* just found the position slider that makes it disappear from the start point doh!

Glad you found it useful dude 😊 and yeah I should have clarified that in the video

    Hello There,
Thank you for this amazing tutorial. I wanna ask you whether we can make an amazing Vox Atlas standard map animation with DaVince Resolve too ?
Does fusion works with json and jsx files ?
Please help me with my question. I will be grateful 😊

    • @ShootingDave
      @ShootingDave  3 роки тому

Sorry for the late reply, I was on a shoot. I do not have experience using json files or jsx files in DaVinci, sorry I can’t be of more help

I think one is stand alone and one if built into a DaVinci

Dude, are running some kind of dogs behind you, or why you should talk and do it so fast? Do you think if someone who knows will watch you or will watch it someone who needs to follow you slowly step by step?

i think less switching from you to davinci will help a lot.
My eyes have to adjust every time right after you switch.
And when they’re finally adjusted you switch back.
When you switch less in the video, the video length stays the same.
So i would first try to switch less.
      Just trying to help out!
