Well done guys. Unlucky with 9 lost carp. That guy doing weights seemed to be a bit of a mardy bum lol
lol thats the owner of the fishery hes an ok guy we stress him out sometimes though you know what us match anglers can be like lol always fussing over something or other lol.
Rich just caught up on this vid. Tough losing soooo many carp, 1 question I need to ask if there are good sized carp there why use a landing net for silvers to make your job harder? Sure this and a pulling to much when a minute or 2 extra caused you to throw the match away? 👏👍
they were the nets provided by the fishery at that time they have bigger ones now
@@Margerisonmatchfishing yeah some fishery nets leave a lot to imagination! I hate it when they are massive net heads suitable for speci. guys, or tears laced together with cable ties with very sharp edges not to good for the fishes health

I am not surprised how menny carp rich pulled out of with how hard he was playing them pulling the elastic as tight as that there was only a foot of elastic out of the end of the top kit and it was stretched to its max every carp he lost went on one last run as he was trying to land them but the elastic was that tight that the fish couldn't pull it out any more so he pulled ot of the fish i am surprised his top kit didn't smash
Yep he admits he was being heavy handed that day we all have our off days
What elastic is he using in his top kits i have got the matrix slick in all mine and i think its the best elastic on the market you can pull it to its max and from some we're it always gives you that bit more stretch but i do like your videos
he was using matrix slik yellow 14 - 16
and we welcome all comments whether they are positive or negative in fact negative comments can actually be of use and make us and people think about how they are fishing and make changes.
Yes i do agree with you on that some people can take negative comments the wrong way but your both a very good pair of angler's i have been watching your videos for some time now and you both have your good days and bad days and thats why its called fishing and not catching i only pleasure fish now days i gave match fishing up about 10 years ago and I just love getting out on the bank when I can i have only been fishing ponds and lakes over the last 2 years i was mainly going on the trent fishing for barbel and i can't get over how much match fishing as changed over the years
Nice video again lads.Hope your feeling better Ade.Rich don't know how long your lash was.pole tip to float but try it as short as you can.It makes the strike a bit more positive and improves the hook hold. Worth a try.

Thanks Ralph im much better now.Rich and i think he had a bad batch of hooks and he was being a little heavy handed he doesnt normally pull out of fish like that it was all a bit strange
