Thank youI'd prefer these devices to be a little thicker and battery slides out & screens changed more easily, I use this ifix vids as a base for my purchasing decisions now
"CAUTION" When working the surged around screen don't go as close to the top of the screen as she does here because the top of the screen has plastic tabs that are meant to slide under the edge of the case top. Lifting the the top of the screen will break these tabs. Instead slide the screen down to release.
Hardly an instruction on ‘replacement’ when the video stops before the replacement begins.
You stopped before????? What kind of replacement is this??? This showed nothing???

Great video. Now, I am not so scared to get a newer iPhone. If it breaks I am confident I can fix it myself and not get that darn error people were getting.

Nobody ever mentions the display seal, mine went away while opening and replacing this seems complicated.
Can you make a tuto about the display adhesive sealing that runs around the whole display (between casing and display)?
Replacement displays usually don't come with the 3D Touch panel. So U should make a video with that also disassembled...

Gotta change the whole strip that connects to the logic board also.. I only changed the home button but then the iPhone gave me unknown error n the finger print wouldn't work so I pull it apart and change the strip on old phone that connects home button and it started working again...
Well , can i change the 1st Generation home button on the iphone 6 plus to the 2nd Generation (which is for the iphone 6s )

iFixit... Why would I pay almost $400 for a display on your site if I can just get the screen for $150 at the apple store and that includes installation.

plus there's a store near me that fixes it for $50 iphone 6s plus and includes warranty. Hmm learn how to fix it myself and risk breaking shit for $85...or pay a professional to do it for $50? not a difficult choice.
they might not use a display in the same quality though, making stuff a lot cheaper - and worse looking.
It's absolutely a reasonable decision to get a professional to do it if you're not confident with the repair. But ask what kind of screen they're replacing it with and make sure the price reflects this. The best choice is is refurbished original screen.

does not match the tools provided. No heat pad, I used hairdryer briefly, no pick. Moves too quickly without showing enough on the initial screen removal. Needed to tape the screen so cracks wouldn't escape suction. Better to center the suction above the home button than do to one side. I would prefer a better video.

Henry it might. but like the video says you can tape the screen if the suction cup won’t work.
I did this and it locked me out of my phone.

I never got an iopener with my kit what else works? edit: idk it just pushed out super easy and I saw on the website it said hair dryer would work too but shouldve been included in the video not just get ur iopener that nobody fuckin has.

Eric Allen in order to keep ur fingerprint working u should use the old one, otherwise u will lost fingerprint feature.
