I’ve been a sports fan since 2004 so I was fortunate enough to catch the final years of decent reporting and interesting anchors. Not just people shouting nonsense for views.

Sad to see him go but happy for all the memories. I was 7 when I started watching SportsCenter and John Andersen is absolutely one of the reasons I have tuned in daily ever since. The humor he brought along with many of the anchors of the time was ahead of its time. Thank you, John.

John Anderson, it has been an adventure getting to hang out with you on Sportscenter. It was always like hanging out with friends over an adult beverage talking sports. Will miss you on ESPN. Best of luck in your future endeavors.
Wow! nostalgic, time for the next step. Congratulations on a great career! 🎊🎊🎊
I remember when he was a local guy here in Tulsa. He was great back then.
It's the 2000's, you just got home from school, you turn on SportsCenter and catch up on the day. This man was one of people responsible for making the day just a little bit nicer. Thank you.
Watched this guys whole career. Fantastic anchor. Good luck homie.
Enjoy your retirement my friend! I loved watching you for all these years. May God bless you and your family!!!🎉
Thank you John Anderson, Memories...
Congrats!
Legend
Anderson and Levy were on the desk plenty together and built a nice chemistry for sure. I been watching Sportscenter since 2002 or 2003. It's weird starting to see all these guys I used to watch on Sportscenter retire. Levy will probably retire soon. Stan Verrett will be soon. It's just more signs that I'm gettin old.
There goes my childhood memories!! U will be miss john😢
